a friday nite rendevous turned into a dancing mayhem
caffeine tour fun for five bucks
the sudden decisions i made
1)were not remotely out of line
and 2)what can be expected from me any time
the late nite early morning conversations usually
amount
to gibberish or sentence fragments
cuddling with someone you like, adore & get all fuzzy
over
-priceless-
growing up lately is all a blur
faster than the speed of sound
and further than any k-hole would ever take you
learning to love someone is more than enough to get me
high

...ya know, while there's no humor in here, I might as well post this. it's - and you're not supposed to this! - a paraphrase of Wilfred Owen's "Dulce et decorum est". The Latin at the end is not attested in Horace.. or Ovid.. or whoever the "Dulce et decorum est" was from.

its even more interesting of a poem If you were actually there that night and know exactly what he's talkin bout =)
that night was the beginning of the end of my summer as i knew it.. and the destruction of my 'family' of friends.. 2 different groups of friends... in 2 summers. . both self-destructed.. questionably for the best..but a loss none the less.. Question holds though.. will next year be the same..
 
wow...how come i didn't read this one sooner??? i love it...thanks for the bump mini or this may have gotten lost on page 2 where i may never have read it.
