Raves in the San Francisco Bay Area

Is there a good site or mailing list to check? Resident Advisor rarely has anything coming up that isn't just a plug from already public venues...

There was an incredible party in Brooklyn I used to go to called Groovy Groovy; does anyone know of a similar circuit in the Bay?

DNA Lounge / Public Works / Midway / Audio SF / Halcyon etc are great, but kind of looking for raves from a regular crew. Similar to Lights Down Low but focused in the Bay: http://lightsdownlow.com/music

The best raves I heard in SF were secret raves in the east bay usually in some warehouse in Oakland. I had a lot of friends in Berkeley and always found them by word of mouth on the street. The cops always showed up.

I used to troll Shattuck and Telegraph Ave all day and the campus sometimes.

I never went to any though, sigh. Should have.
