Random words and poems - stuck

I've was called out to multiple sites yesterday and have been today. Basically sitting around because some of our systems have been down and don't have the usual stuff. Reported everything and stuck in the waiting game.

As such, thought to do random words because I'm trying to express more this year. What are your words?



We display ourselves, or desire anonymity
Bipolar, bisected, binary
Where lies the truth?

Are we our shadows, our hidden, unspoken terms
Traffic sent and received
But only covertly recorded?

Or are we our condensed, cleaned results
What we pretend to choose to show.
What we seek openly and desire to know?

Do we let our information continue on,
Try to halt that entropic flow, or
Are we intransigent about our transience?

Maybe I'll take a walk today
But does my phone track my steps,
Am I that path?

Maybe I'll leave it here for now
