Preventing 4-AcO-DMT from Metabolizing?

tl;dr at bottom.

I've come across a couple of hits of 4-AcO-DMT today. Since I learned it was in my area, I've been reading up on it. I understand that the theory behind its psychoactive effects is that it is metabolized within the body to psilocin (4-HO), i.e. it's a prodrug of psilocin, similar to psilocybin.

Maybe this is silly to think, but I wondered if 4-AcO-DMT has its own psychoactive effects. I've tripped on 'shrooms once before, so I'm somewhat familiar with the effects. I guess I'm interested both in finding out if 4-AcO-DMT is any different subjectively on its own as well as having a new personal experience. I haven't been able to find a definite answer online as to whether or not 4-AcO-DMT has independent effects, so I'm planning to take matters into my own hands.

My plan is to stop as much 4-AcO-DMT from metabolizing before that pretty little thing hits my brain. I'm pretty new to the chemistry and have no formal education in the subject (besides a basic high school chemistry class -- practically useless for this), so I could use some help here. The only thoughts I have so far is taking Vitamin C or some sort of acetyl group (which I'm not sure is even readily obtainable). Anybody have any ideas on how to make this happen? Or is there a better way to do it?

tl;dr -- I want to attempt to experience as pure a 4-AcO-DMT experience as possible. What chemical would be best to take before/alongside 4-AcO-DMT to increase the chances of it reaching the brain before it's metabolized to psilocin?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: I stumbled on this http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/365088-4-AcO-DMT-vs.-Psilocin while researching. It has some good information (like various reports that 4-AcO is definitely different than 4-HO), but it hasn't answered my question. It looks like I could inject it, but I'm pretty opposed to that idea.

In addition, I noticed (though this could be the sleep deprivation) that if 4-HO lasted a long while for one person, 4-AcO was generally shorter lived and vice versa. If anyone has tried pure 4-HO and pure 4-AcO, could you relay some information as to length of the trip and which you find more pleasant? It appears that one's body chemistry is an important variable with these drugs.

Also useful would be the method by which 4-AcO is converted to 4-HO within the body, if it is known. That would probably help to answer my original question. I haven't found anything yet.

This is like asking for something to stop the breakdown of cocaine; it's not something that's doable.

4-AcO is rapidly converted to 4-HO-DMT even after injection due to the presence of plasma esterase enzymes that break the acetate group off. Inhibiting these would not be a good idea.

The amido analogue might be similar in activity, though I'm not sure if an amidase would be able to take care of it without a huge problem... As the methyl ether (4-Methoxy) appears to be metabolized as well in 4-6 hours, probably there is a rate limiting step that has more to do with the amine if you're looking to extend the duration.

Could surfactants like cyclodextrin compounds help protect against deacetylation at least up to the psychedelic crossing the BBB?
