Prescription advice

Hello all,

I hope this is allowed here.

I've realised that a lot of my life's problems are caused by anxiety, or rather, anxiety AND anehdonia. I posted recently that Butylone helped. I realised quickly that Butylone was very very harsh on my body and I haven't touched it for a week and hope not to use it again. However, the problem remains, Butylone gives me a confidence boost that makes me feel normal. It's not just self-reflection. I really DO get on better with people.

I'd love to try and get prescribed something properly to help deal with my issues. I hate the fear that an RC is going to vasoconstrict me to death. If I could get something like Ritalin prescribed I think it'd change my life significantly. My drive has always been comparably abominable to my peers and my one experiment with MDPV ended up with me doing a huge amount of work but I realised coming down at work was no fun, and do not plan on "doing lines" in a place of work.

Could anybody recommend a drug that's safe and on prescription that they believe could help me? How arduous is the process to gain prescription for these medications? Do you think the doctor would be inclined to give me a "test run" if you will, of some sort of medication?

I'm really really not hoping to use an SSRI, my emotions are my life, although fragile, they're important for my bursts of creativity at the piano and they define me as a person but I'd love to break through out of my shell, and it appears I've only ever felt truly content under Butylone.

I'm going to predict a doctor would be incredibly reluctant to prescribe an 18 yr old Ritalin, but I don't have a criminal record and I've never been prescribed any abusable medication before. I want to get well, not get high. I want to feel "normal". That concept seems abstract presently.

Can anyone give me a low-down on what sort of questions a doctor will ask? My cousin has ADHD and he has Ritalin. I have Dyspraxia which is heavily related to ADHD/ADD and I'm pretty sure I have the latter, although I feel like you won't believe me. I honestly feel that way, and always have done.

I look forward to any advice you can offer. I'm based on the UK by the way, so only recommend information relevant that area please.

Thank you.

i'm not a doctor, but i sure as shit would no script anyone suffering from anxiety any stimulant.

and in the US, ritalin is for kids only. maybe that is different in the UK.

Well, the anxiety is not like normal anxiety. My hands remain perfectly still at all times. I never feel anxious on my own or anything. I have a huge social inhibition though and just one day of using Butylone I had my first proper conversation with my dorm room mate after 2 months of living there. I literally felt like I had been reborn. Butylone is a stimulant. Why does Butylone cause this but, mephedrone and methyloned do not?

It doesn't matter what "type" of anxiety it is you are experiencing.. they still won't give you stims. You say you think you have ADD go get tested you if the dr says you have it you could potentially kill two birds with one stone.

Just tell your doctor the truth, avoid mentioning any psychotic features unless you're ready to be labeled crazy. Many will disagree with that, but if you mention psychotic features to a doctor they will label you as something besides anxiety disorder and load you up with anti-psychotics that will numb your life. It's easy to get prescribed somethign like say benzos, btu a lot of doctors will start you off on non-benzos like buspirone, if it works then good, but I hated it. Just tell him how it influences your life negatively day-to-day and that's pretty much all. Look at the DSM-IV TR at the anxiety disorder symptoms and itll give you a good idea of what you need not to say to get what you want. Sorry if this sounds like telling you how to et pills, but it's not it's an attempt to save you thehorror of being labeled somethign you're not a doped up with countless drugs thatll fuck your life up. Period.

You won't get stimulants for anxiety, period. 99% of stimulants cause anxiogenesis and doctors are fully aware of that.
