Powder from CWE?

After performing a cold water extraction with percocets can one dissolve the liquid to obtain a powder? If so what is the best way to do this?

Uh, you might want to try reading that to see if it makes sense, because it doesn't to me. Anyway this isn't really material for ADD...

you can evaporate the water i reckon. never tried it. and i agree with not add material?

You can indeed evaporate the water, but Codeine is rather temperature sensitive, so you have to be careful not to raise the temp of the water above 70degC (IIRC).

In addition, there is no benefit: you will see a loss of product, and the resulting material isn't suitable for further reactions.

You're better off drinking the solution to be honest.

If you wish to do neat things to it, then there are better ways of precipitating the codeine out, but that's not a discussion for BL (as far as I'm aware).

Add an equal volume of acetone - the codeine phosphate crashes out on the spot.
