When I first started smoking I never really got these effects. I would geek out like crazy and just be high and having fun. Of course that was back in high school. Now I'm over my geeking phase and while I get a pleasant high now, it just makes me so lazy and physically tired. Maybe it's cause I've been a bit depressed lately or maybe it's because all I've been smoking is high mids. I dunno do you guys always get tired when you blaze?

I feel the same way , pot makes me tired , lazy and hungry. But I love it so I wouldn't ever quit smoking. I think after you smoke everyday for years on end this is just how it goes. I imagine that it just has to do with tolerance. I don't get anywhere near as high these days as I did when I was a youngster :)

Through my years of cannabis use I came across the damn lethargy/non-motivated feeling hours after a session.

I found that smoking only dank (no middies), that it helps delay the burn out. However, you can avoid the burnout completely if you blaze and immediately go out and do something. That way you don't mong yourself out on the couch in front of the TV (major burnout from that).

However, if you blaze all day you WILL burnout eventually, that is inevitable. Cannabis should be used sparingly and it will reward you a lot more :) Moderation is the key, as with all substances.

I personally love a tiring smoke at night but during the day I find sativa strains and physically activity is a great combination, but I don't burn much during the day, I just use enough for a good head change. Hope this helps man.%)

yeah man i get tired alot, i used to spazz out too but that was in high school your body is adapting and you dont really find any enjoyment out of doing kid things youd rather just chill, thats how i usually feel.

When I was in college, I used to cruise through papers (writing not smoking) while high. But when my task was complete, the laziness took over. You just need to stay motivated.

It's kind of like saying water makes you wet, but different strains do have pretty different effects. Like someone mentioned, try going upmarket and buying a high quality sativa. A few common sativa's you might be able to find: Cinderella 99, Trainwreck, Jack Herer, Super Silver Haze. There are tons more, but all of those are great weed and good trippy sativa examples.
