Political Satire and Meme Megathread

Such a travesty! The government invested around $1 each of our hard-earned tax money on introducing a program that allows health care to be affordable for all of us! For shame Obama!!

I thought because "citizens" indicates corporations and billionaires who don't have a FAKENEWS outlet that criticizes Trump (the Republicans are going to slide that into official law before losing power).

Oh yeah, they deserve a lot more than a paltry million each.

I guess it's my bad math...;)

You guys are such stick-in-the-muds. What's the big difference with the decimal point being 6 places to the right. Oh wait, it that just a coincidence?

We'll never know :)

Do you mean that, as an American Citizen I can go to one of those countries for a free degree?

This is a real question, not an argument, btw :)

also, emergency medical treatment...

if you are a u.s. citizen in the u.k. (for example) and you have an accident and break your leg, treatment for the immediate emergency is free of charge, regardless of your nationality or place of residence, as long as it's delivered at a doctor's office or emergency room.

Yeah it is true.

You only need to buy or loan the books you need for studying here.

Plenty of people all around the world come here to study in university.

Of course you are not entitled for student benefits and free housing if you are not EU citizen but the education is free.

I'm too old to do it, but I think it's really a great opportunity to not only get a degree, but learn a different culture first hand.

I didn't mean to derail the thread so , back OT

Thanks again :)

I've been anxious about Russia since their annexation of Crimea and their disruption of Ukrainian autonomy. That was well before 2016. Damn, I wonder if I've been propagandized?

Remember when they shot down a commercial airliner?

Killed journalists and opposition politicians.

Then this all this business about novichok....

Such a benign country, eh? Thank you mister trump, for selling us up the fucking river.

It's almost as if trump supporters have been sold a totally bogus worldview...

This is why i have so much disdain of people like alex jones. Weaponising ignorance, and encouraging people to reject evidence-based assessments of politics.
It's dangerous, because it allows these people to argue that these fascist fucks aren't doing any harm.
All this playing dumb makes me feel kinda ill.
Or claiming that they support trump, but not his bigotry. Bullshit.

These are propagandized buzzwords. I'm glad people are so forthcoming with what they've been programmed to say though.
There's just that pesky little thing called evidence, y'know that thing that prevents us from accusing anyone of just doing anything.
Unless you have it you're simply talking conspiracy theories.
Also what might seem self-evident to you, is probably something you haven't verified personally.

Just an FYI to all the Trump Putin critics: History has you pegged as a bunch of right-wing fascists:
