Yeah the response of conservatives to the (extremely peaceful and reasonable) NFL kneeling protests is so bizarre to me. Kneeling during the national anthem is anti-American? Uh, what? Peaceful protest is one of the very most core attributes of America. The whole thing is a gaslight being used to drum up mindless anger and discontent. They're not even protesting America, they're protesting police brutality. I commend famous athletes for risking their careers to try to shed light on a very real problem, in a respectful and peaceful way. Since when is kneeling during the national anthem disrespectful, anyway? In what way is it disrespectful? They've even still got their hands over their hearts.
