Police Brutality Thread

George Floyd died of a drug overdose as he shoved fentanyl up his ass, ate part of a fent pill, and used lots of METH. He was Poz, not on meds, and not healthy.

Had George not thrown a temper tantrum, resisted arrest, and been a violent criminal he might still be alive today.

Due process? If the criminal is violent as George Floyd was, and resists arrest they will get roughed up. George Floyd is responsible for his own death. He asked to be put onto the ground, and he took too many drugs.

What movement? The defund the police movement? Minneapolis' violent crime rate has skyrocketed. The George Floyd ghetto has gotten so bad and so have other slums that the police refuse to go there if they are called. Minneapolis is not the only city this is happening in.

It is happening in NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, ATL, Chicago, STL, Compton, Inglewood, SF/Oakland, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Fresno, Portland, and Seattle. In these cities if the criminals are black or the crime is happening in a slum the police refuse to show up.

Do not try to claim George was some completely innocent person who was killed by police/paramedics the way Elijah McClain was.

When did I claim he was a totally innocent person? I didn't. You clearly didn't read my post, or if you did, you didn't comprehend it and it triggered you into another attack of speculation about him raping people and being a bag of shit. This isn't a real response to my post, it's just you voicing your disdain/hatred again like a broken record. Whatever though, go ahead and sit there and feel smug. I keep forgetting that you know more about his death than the experts who did his autopsy. Everything you have to say about him being a bad person is beside my point. My point is we live in a country of laws, where due process determines guilt and police arrest you, not kill you. Or at least that's how it's supposed to be. You're suggesting we should keep setting a dangerous precedent, because you're obsessed with painting the guy as some sort of evil villain. The need to attack his character blinds you to the fact that cops are killing people when they could have not killed people and allowed our legal system to work as it is supposed to.

It's fine if you think it's not murder, but the way you make your case is really disgusting. Your disdain for drug addicts is obvious. Maybe it makes you feel better about yourself, I don't know.

Not a very diverse lineup either. Unity and all. 🤷‍♂️
 
This is SERIOUSLY over the top and out of hand. Nothing more to say. Really.

So, the family of a police brutality victim and some randos srart a foundation with the settlement money, and your mad because they aren't focusing on his criminal past? Upset theres no white people on the lineup? Maybe since Floyd made hiphop they wanted to go with black ppl instead of coxenormous or other assorted sound cloud rappers. Get over yourself, you are wedging the divide just as much as them continuing to make it about race in a separate community

I've never created anything that would divide people, nor do I support anything that does. I despise the hypocrisy of the left as they continue to label people, to separate and elevate one person over another by skin color. As King once said

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."


And in Floyd's case, his character was lacking in value. That cannot be disputed.

I can respect leveraging his death to address injustice, but to honor him individually is a sham, and should be condemned accordingly.

As to the lineup, again I ask 'for what purpose?'. It appears to be tailored to a specific group of our populace...ok, most concerts are, I mean I'm not heading to a Country&Western concert as it doesn't appeal to me. Then behind it, it is free, so there isn't a cash grab. Ask yourself, what purpose does this serve? Both at the level of 'what was their intent' and also at the level of 'what does this affect'.

It doesn't matter if he was pink with yellow dots on. He tried to resist a lawful arrest. And while I understand Officer Chauvin's thought process: he then went too far.

There is nothing more to it than that.

What Floyd was before or what he may have become in the future is fucking irrelevant.

I wouldn't be so sure this "big bad left" aka facets of the media actually hold any sort of personal left wing ideology, and I think if anything it's a collaborative effort with fox News on the other extreme, but perhaps the big wigs could give less of a fuck about the labels and are more about the division.

In that case, my dear, you are playing right into the hands of the "left" with your rhetoric - not that I havent done so myself with the "right" - we are only human and as we are all being manipulated and fucked with by psychopaths, it's understandable sometimes
 
Floyd and Chauvin are currently sitting pool side at a resort in Saudi Arabia, smoking cigars, with fresh CIA printed identities and passports. Various other witnesses, coroners, doctors, analysts, judges, jail guards, and cops, have also been killed or paid off.

This. He resisted. Chauvin killed him. It was videotaped. One man dead. One man in prison. Everyone loses. Nobody wins.
 
Nelson filed a motion to have the jurors be questioned about possible bias in the verdict. Pursuant to the interviews that went on afterwards ( from some jurors ). Consensus is that the motion will be denied. Which will bring bout another appeal. Wonder if Nelson is going pro bono on this as I don't see Chauvin's wife and family being able to shell out the funds for post conviction work.

As for the Federal trial in the Fall. Do you think they will let Chauvin plea this time?

Hey Ms. Wexler.

Glad to see you're on top of things here i.e. I been busy with our criminal clients! 🤣

They got divorced though as I recall (although, and if memory serves me correctly, their plan was construed as being an attempt to preserve assets and which I think a judge tried to put aside) (but this from memory now i.e. don't quote me on this).

Methinks this just another runaround really. There isn't a judge, potential juror, or executioner in the US of A that's not aware of the ramifications of Officer Chauvin getting off or pleading to a lesser charge and it being accepted. So of course nobody wants to know about potential bias.

Mind you. After all the shit that's gone down since this little incident: maybe somebody wakes up and decides to send a signal realizing that the entire justice system is being held to ransom and that all of these little angels that have been expedited since were not sitting on the curb licking ice cream and watching the cars go by at the time of their demise!

Not sure I have to stomach to go through this again though. I've even stopped watching the latest law enforcement shooting of the previous day. Same shit. Different day.
 
He's being sentenced today. Most talking heads are predicting between 20 and 25 years. Possibly out in 10.

Nelson's appeals haven't been heard yet so who knows what " juror bias and juror misconduct " may reveal.
 
He got 270 months. 10 years on the Murder 2 conviction and 12.5 more years for the aggravating circumstances.
