Of course it affects too. Their culture promotes ghetto life, it affects to but culture is creation of the people. There's reason why all of africa is like it is.
Anyways, for the future generations and theses riotersr right now - I bet rioting and destroying your own community helps to find job in the future from area, since every business has been burned down. I bet the rich white folks want to invest money in such a steady and stabile areas. Shooting yourself in the leg, then crying.

Oh the good ol' "Poverty causes crime!" From studies what i've read, it's actually other way around - crime causes poverty. Slavery is also terrible example. How does situation of my great grandma affect me right now? It doesn't and let me tell you, she didn't have it good. Not single one of my great grandparents had it good, they grew up in war. Does it affect me? Russians destroyed my country. It was in 1940's. It doesnt affect me. How can something that happened in 1800 affect someone still today? Retarded argument. Most if not all people who are rich right now in USA didn't benefit or lose anything to slavery.
Nietzsche said that people act moral to feel better than others, to feel higher. I can see that situation happening in every defender of these poor blacks, specially after the facts have been represented.

Umm. No. Being from Africa, the southern most reason, I would partially disagree with you. The culture tends towards the more children you have the more people you will have to look after you as you grow old. Your statement may have been true once upon a time but with modern medicine, whereas you may have had 14 kids with half of them expected to die before they grew old enough to have their own homesteads and cattle, you now still have 14 mouths to feed instead of the expected 7. Result = starvation & deprivation.

Referring to the above. Where I came from has a ~45% unemployment rate with the resultant crime rate. 30 years ago the employment rate was half what it is now, and the crime rate was roughly half what it is now. Why? Because a new, inexperienced, corrupt government came into power, grabbed the cash to stash in offshore accounts and largely held the attitude of F the people, we're allright Jack. So, while I agree that the circumstances your great-grandmother grew up in are an aeon away from those you grew up in, if you were raised in a ghetto with a druggie father and alcoholic mother the chances are good you'd stay in the ghetto as a druggie and alcoholic. How you gonna buy drugs and alcohol?

Fun thing is, my dad is a junkie and alcoholism goes a long way in my family. However i'm still doing my best to avoid becoming my dad and i'm not blaming him from my situation, neither i'm blaming russians. It would be a scapegoat for the true problems in me, trying to avoid them and blaming the "russian devil!" It would be retarded, but blaming the "white devil" for the bad success of blacks is insane and just a bad scapegoat and a good reason not to have look the problems at their community or themselves. One big reason why they can't' success might be their victim mentality, that nothing is their fault. I bet them not finding jobs after they have destroyed every employer in their community is somehow white mens fault too, maybe white men didn't stop them soon enough?
 
While I don't condone the officers, there's a lot missing without audio. I personally could not be a cop. I know how they get talked to, and I'd lose my cool first time one said something about my mama LOL. I never understood that oh, so many people of all Races, once the Cuffs are on just make things worse. The whole Good Guys bad guys thing is a game. If I make it where I'm going with my sack of dope, I win that round. If you've got cuffs on me oh, well I lost. No sense running my mouth and exacerbating. I think psych evaluation should be required for anybody in a position of authority. Including you mr. Trump. Police are necessary, evils sometimes granted. On a final note concerning trying to pass counterfeit currency, had an associate few years ago got caught with 2 $10 bills trying to deposit into his checking. 2 years sentence, only prior a couple simple possession weed. It's a federal offense people. Now bring on the flak, LOL.
 
People deem this a race problem, for the criminal justice system inequality. While race has some piece of the pie, it does NOT hold the largest factor.

MONEY. Money is what makes people guilty or not guilty. Money is what makes felony convictions disappear. If you have money, and you're black, you can make it go away.

Poor vs rich is much more of a factor than black or white in the conviction of a crime.

Take Ray lewis, famous NFL line backer, basically openly admitted he was involved in a murder, never saw a day and was acquitted of all charges. What did he have? money.

It's all about money and having the right lawyer and paying the right people. Our justice system is just as fucking corrupt as our political system. Race never mattered.

I'm not joking. Areas where slavery was more common were so disadvantaged compared to northern states. Did you know what was the idea behind freeing slaves movements? Capitalism. Put them to work. Make them do real work, do real money. Slavery is around 13% profitable, it's terrible investment and will only slow down the growth. Yes, empires of the past might have used lots of slavery but empires of today have industrialism, it doesn't need slavery. Also capitalism makes much more than 13% profit from one worker, so it's just a smarter decision. If slavery would have made US rich, why isn't Brazil much richer?
Tell me how Jeff Bezos profited from slavery? Tell me how Donald Trump did? How did Bill Gates do it? Name me one family, whose wealth of today is the result of slavery.
I can name one, but it's not about black slaves. Bush family owned many stocks of German steel company, which used Jewish slaves. They made good bunch of money with it. The Bush Administration even got sued for it, but the charges were dropped if i remember right.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by this. The Egyptian empire prospered through enslaving the territories they conquered (what we now know as the Sudan and Ethiopia). The Roman Empire prospered through enslaving the territories they conquered (most of modern Europe), the Syrian Empire prospered through enslaving the territories they conquered (what we now call Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Israel and parts of modern Saudi Arabia, and so on for the Mongol Empire, the Ottoman Empire right though to the French Empire (large chunks of north and west Africa), the German Empire (South-West Africa before WW II), the British Empire (large chunks of the planet starting from Southern Africa to India to Burma to Australia to what we now know as the good ol' US of A & Canada). The mistake all these empires made was to try and hold a territorial advantage ruled by military might.

The U.S. of A. did it a lot better. The U.S. held dominance by financial might (once they convinced the world that currency should not be measured against the gold standard but against the $ standard - thanks Mr. Kissinger, you just fucked the plant). China is now taking it one step further. Soon they will hold dominance based on output might. "We can produce shit faster, cheaper and better than you". This negates financial might as finance might is indicative of purchasing power. Purchasing power is meaningless when supply can be ramped up to exceed demand. We have just seen what happened to oil prices. You really think this is unique and will be the only time this ever happens?

I'm not living in the same conditions and that's the point. I can't blame the russian devil for my problems and if i did blame it, it wouldn't help my situation. Probably would shift my focus from the actual problems to some made up shit, which i could be angry at - but doing so i also would not go forward even one step because of the misdirected anger. People should focus on things they can themselves change. There's war? Okay, but hey man, did you do your homework? Have you looked for a job? How are you going to change the world if you can't even change the situation you're living in? You will expand the area you can affect but you have to start from small things. Get education, get job, take care of your own shit.
Blacks aren't slaves in USA anymore, it was many hundred years ago. Jim Crow and slavery don't affect people nowdays, they just don't.
There isn't racist laws in USA anymore, expect affirmative action, which is racist only against whites and asians and actually benefits blacks greatly.

Slavery was never abolished, it was only extended to include all the colors.

I've honestly been moved to tears several times watching the news coverage. What has this country come to? We're better than this.

I think it would be easy to blame Trump, but I think it's more than that. I don't think this country has ever healed from slavery/racism.

We need more Martin Luther King Jr.'s... we need another leader for justice. If Trump somehow gets reelected I may honestly consider moving to Canada. (but is that even the right move? running away from the problem?... I don't honestly know.)

I was speaking about USA, i know history dude. I know history of slavery very well. I know how empires in the past used slavery and never claimed otherwise. China wont take US place in world stage, they wont. If there is going to hit a crisis in china, it will lead to famine. Their system can't take it like the US system can. Also their wealth is based on trade by sea and US makes it possible by making it safe to trade with their military. China wouldn't be shit without US. Also, the cheap industry is moving out of china already, to India and other cheaper countries. Many countries did same thing as china did before them, like Japan. China has just so big population that they became richer than others who did the same thing. China taking US place in world stage is a distant dream which will not be true in next 100 years.

My virtual friend. Happiness is not a by-product of wealth. Wealth affords you sufficient distractions to mitigate against being unhappy. On second thoughts, maybe that's what you meant, in which case I agree with you. :)
