well lets face it
Phat pants are the root of all evil, much like money, democracy and politicians.
but basically i want some. now ideally i would make them, but last time i tried to sew i impaled my finger, and everytime i look at a needle and thread start shaking with fear.
Anyhoo, does anyone know where i can get some. now i live in perth and as far as i know nobody has the balls to stock them, but rumor has it that a place in melbourne does..(?). or u can order them from america.
any help would be much obliged.
oh yeh, and lets keep the abuse to a minimum about candy ravers. ta.

Yeah I can't seem to find any (decent) phat pants in Perth either, what's the story there!?

I got a sweet pair from carousel (my 3/4 length funky rave pants!), cant remember the shop name tho. Next time you go to Sanity for tickets or the movies there, theres shitloads of small clothes stores around sanity. Most are fucking expensive, and most of the clothes you wont like, but theres usually something that catches your eye. Worth going to even to decide what you want.
Oh yeah... check out the sweet 26red jeans from Myer there. Not PHAT phat, but they feel like pyjamas... I love mine

Carousel... 1.4km from end to end... thats 2.8km of shopfronts to walk past. Must be something there.
 
Alrighty, time for a n old school guy to show you around. Go down murray street mall towards Globe. Along there on the left you will find a magical place called Liquid. In the back there you will find a fantasy land called el'dorado with more phat pants than you can dream of. Not to mention some of the funkiest, coolest raver gear you have ever seen..well in Perf anyway.
Definately give it a go and you will be surprised. Oh, the only thing is that it is expensive. Mkay?

Darkblade is correct in his assessment of the phat pants situation... but there is a couple of other choices... on hay street almost exactly in line with liquid on murray street ... (maybe) is Pulse... they sell some hella funky stuff in there... little on the pricey side... but you get what you pay for... I bought a one off shirt in there... and it was actually one off for a change... it wasn't just the salesperson talking it up... more places to try are...
Lick in fremantle... they are just on the way onto the main strip of freo.
atlas, also in fremantle, just across from Lick in fact... ummmm... atlas has another store in leederville too I think... atlas stock Hard Rock boots... anyone that stocks them in my book is cool. totally not suitable for raving (as they weigh about as much as a car and wouldn't look out of place in a car yard) but if you need to have plenty of hardcore head kicking style shoes grab some of these.
ummm... Live doesn't really have that much in the way of phat pants unless you like ecko gear... which isn't all bad... and their shops are bloody EVERYWHERE... tho I think the garden city shop seems a little bigger than the rest.
Industria in central perth again, they are in the cinema arcade across barrack street... there is some interesting stuff in there but dunno bout phat pants... worth a look tho.
New shop has opened at the bustop end of kings street... can't for the life of me remember the name of the blasted place and I have only ever riden past there but it looks like they stock ravey kinda gear... funky backpacks and the like...
as for online stuff... I have the one stop shop for PHAT (read as BULLSHITLY PHAT) pants... in fact I will include a blinking picture to indicate the pure PHATNESS of these pants... homeless people could live under them for god sake!

Make your own. I've already made one pair, and i've got several more on the way when i get some time

Basically, buy a PJ pattern from a sewing store, there is even a phat pants pattern(!) I just prefer PJ style.
Make the legs PHAT. You can always reduce, although that's not really an option

. Add 2 inches or more to the pattern, just go beserk. So up like normal pants, and add pockets and flys, etc as you wish.
All up cost = $15, that's about 20 times cheaper than pro phat pants.

Ezidick, all I can say is that your lovely accepting crew will DEFINITELY disown you if you manage to find a pair and wear them!! Now I didn't say I wouldn't take you shopping for some (I need new clothes), but if you wear them out with us, we may accidentally "lose" you...

hhhhhmmmm...the only problem is that once one starts wearing the phatties that all other pants seem to appear inferior in their light, thus creating a dependence on the phatness.
