Okay so ive had DR visits about my health problems ive been battling for quite some time now. Seems of some sort of respiratory depression, along with Pyschalogical disorders!

Here are some past experiences:

Well, it probably began with weed on the psychalogical side. Dont get me wrong, Ive always LOVED weed. But its caused a longline history of PARANOIA And anxiety! Now it wasnt marijuana that caused this, but it was life events in general I would try to avoid by smoking pot! However this only dramtically enhanced the worrying and paranoia and kinda turned me into a worried freak!

3 or more years go down the road, I get into prescriptions for the first time, started with my first script of hydrocodone! Oh Boi i sure loved these, I was home from school for 2 weeks straight smoking pot and poppin hydros all day playin games, music, sleep ect.

When I ran out, i tended to smoke weed alot heavier, a good 4 - 7 times a day! Eventually began dealing to keep up with my fiends!

I ran into a new dealer, wich became a good friend, " Good " More like close. But he introduced me to " DXM " Or robitussin by brand name. I started off with half a bottle, waited for it to kick in, smoked some ganj and we were in space, this was my first ever time on a psycho-active / pyschadelic.

A week later came, I decided to drink a whole bottle this time, We had sipped it walking home from walmart ( we were literately 20 miles away from his house ) It was the beginning of winter, im layered up, but suddenly an hour of time passes by, and I GET COLD AS FUCK! DXM has kicked in, im not enjoying it at all! I cant stop shakyness, cold shivers everywhere, teeth are chattering, and my hands were purple!

We finally got home, we decided to call it a night after 3 hours of walking. We smoked some ganj, and passed out. Only thing is, Im still awake, im warm but my body is still jittery! Its almost like I was having a seizure, my legs were twitching immensely, i could no longer control it at this point. I wakw my friend up because i was having bad anxiety i was overdosing! He said just to sleep it off, its normal. So i said okay. But suddenly im now having respiratory depression, The room is literately spinning and im losing conciousness. I began to ponder if i was about to die, until i passed out from unconciousness. Woke up later that evening, my friend sais " told you, youd be fine " ONLY IM NOT. I was still having issues breathing and having panic attacks, felt very schizo that day too. These effects lasted 3 days, I than tried to smoke weed after feeling somewhat normal, you wont beleive this, but same thing happened alll over again! this happened 4 to 5 times before i went to the Dr, he said everything was OK. He prescribed me xanax for my panic attacks, decided to smoke ONE more time, with a xanax! And BOOM. Everything is normal again. And remained normal, however im still having difficulties breathing, i also cant smoke pot around people anymore, im quite asf, dont talk, overthink shit and embarasse myself. This has had a permanent effect on me. I still sip DXM occasionally, i can sip a whole bottle and be absolutely fine. Could it be the cold actually cause this.? My advice STAY IN A WARM CLIMATE.

There is one other thing id like to ask about, I once took 4 50mg Vyvanses at once with no tolerance. No issues there, even sipped 2 beers. Ended up crashing out 3 hours after. ( wierd huh ) I woke up the next day, with bad RINGING noises in my ear! This has not gone away, its been about 5 or 6 months, it only happens when the room is really quite and nothing is going on. . Did this permanently cause tinnitus.? I also have been suffering light psychosis, seing things such as shadow people, bugs in the sky that arent there, even audio hallucinations..

Anyways sorry for the long story. Im just really seeking answers. My DR is saying everything is OKAY. Even though im suffering all these mental and physical effects. Is there anyone out there that has these same occurings.? Has anyone out there found answers and solved messes like these.? Thanks, your time really means alot to me.

You are ok. The ringing has always been in the background, you just never noticed until you woke up that morning on Vyvanse.

As for the bugs and the shadow people, ....have you stopped all drug use? I suspect that will eventually go away. The brain is surprisingly mallable, it just takes time to fully heal.

For the most part I have tried to stop drug use. I've been clean off pot for a month or so. I still continue Opiates, they are definately a huge substitute to marijuana, because its the only drug i cant take socially anymore, also the whole paranoia stage has really messed with my desire for pot. Opiates resemble a a very close emulation of marijuana for me, except without the paranoia. The euphoria, stress releif, and mind numb properties Opiates have are the closest thing I have to remembering the good ol days i had with ganj.

Also I have noticed the ringing in my ears before, I know it is normal on occasion. But now its a CONSTANT thing.

Did you have oxycodone in your system when taking the DXM? The latter alone is rarely toxic in amounts one can ingest out of cough syrup ... but it does sensitize opioid receptors and can lead to a potentiation of the oxycodone. Weed will do it's own, but opiates + DXM are bad.

The Vyvanse: D-Amphetamine numbers seem to vary slightly between sources but 200mg would make somewhat between 60-80mg dexamphetamine. This is a very high dose and can be lethal! Did you have other drugs in your bloodstream besides the beers & vyvanse? The reason it took you some hours to collapse was because vyvanse is a prodrug and gets slowly converted to the actually active d-amphetamine by your body...

You don't seem to be dead, so don't worry too much. Tinnitus is a somewhat psychological (or partly neurological, don't know..too complicated to understand or even explain for now) phenomenon.
But you need to stop doing drugs like this, now! Do you want to be another number in drug death statistics? (Sorry.)

Some times when your brain is working to fast, it will make assumptions to speed everything up, so you will be seeing people where you expect them to be.
