There are much darker forces at work in the world than Epstein and the Ukrainian government. Ukraine was fucked before the Russian invasion. That's true.

You don't have to hate yourself just because you're a man. You should feel sorry for Ukrainian men. At least part of the reason for the child abuse is probably poverty. I don't know. I'm just taking your word for it that is was an actual hotspot. The country is fucked up in many ways. I don't know everything that's going on over there. I don't care about Ukraine, particularly. The fact that this war is happening now rather in the 1600s is largely irrelevant to me. Even if it spills out into a world war, I can't do anything about it. But, I do feel sorry for them. It's a shitty situation to be in. I'm sure there are lots of good Ukrainian men
and women that deserve better.
As for Epstein, he was an amateur operating in broad daylight. The girls didn't claim to be abused. They were flown on jets. They weren't kept in dungeons. I haven't paid much attention to the whole thing so I could be wrong, but it seems like he's taking a lot more of the spotlight than he deserves... and - by doing so - further distracting us from the shit going on underground. People are satisfied when they have someone to blame. We like a face to redirect our frustrations at and say "that guy is evil. he's working for Satan."
Satan is a comfort thing.
The truth is: people are capable of horrendous acts.
There is no Satan. We are Satan. God is God.
Look on the bright side, though. Most people are good. Even though we are all capable of evil, we choose to be good every day. Maybe there is one evil person in every hundred. Those are good odds. I can live with that.
My default is to assume people are good until proven evil. That way, I am right most of the time and I don't hate the world.
