Pedophilia in the News

Me?

If so, you think me posting a quote from a news article, and then posting a link to the news article about a pedophile, in the thread titled "Pedophilia in the News", is trolling?

Some people think it's transphobic to point out trans people who are pedos. Unless you bow down and explicitly state this does not represent all trans people (which should go without saying) , you are most likely committing a hate crime or trolling at the very least.

Some people don't want equal treatment they want special treatment.

Maybe you shouldn't even have shared that story Electrum... in fact I think whoever wrote that article should be fired immediately!
Okay, I'll play. I don't have individual articles for each case but their names and crimes are all in one place for easy access. Go ahead and label me a republicanphobe.

you gotta admit, they can't be thinking very much about teaching their students math and reading when they are so focused on this shit.

would it be too much to ask to let parents handle social issues?

what do you think 3rd graders in China are learning?
I think that teaching our kids to respect and accept all of their fellow humans regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, etc is more important than the vast majority of shit that is taught in schools. As important as knowing the three types of rocks is to the 99.9% of kids who aren’t planning on studying geology, our schools aren’t exactly teaching children critical thought or kindness or practical skills right now.

The trans community has the same amount of "collective responsibility" for the criminal element in their ranks as the Italian-American community has for the crimes of John Gotti (to use your example), the Jewish community has for the crimes of Bernie Madoff, or I have for the crimes of some pasty white WASP criminal.

IE, none whatsoever.

It's not the responsibility of citizen vigilantes to enforce the law, it's the responsibility of the criminal justice system. Sometimes they do a satisfactory job, sometimes not...but there are very good reasons why that responsibility is not in the hands of average citizens. Anyone who gets disturbed by the thought of censorship, "cancel culture", 1984 Big Brother dystopias etc. should be quite troubled by the idea of having an army of plainclothes para-law enforcement people out there narcing on their fellow citizens getting an abortion or having a child who questions their own "gender identity" or possessing a firearm that state-level authorities don't like or whatever else...
Wrong.

You're obviously not aware of how much racial nepotism goes on, especially in the criminal justice system. The system is completely fucked and one of the reasons that all these problems continue is because people are too scared to police their own groups. The nature of politics these days means that we cannot publicly criticize other groups - for eg. pointing out the very real and threatening problem of black crime gets you labelled a racist. Pointing out that there's an incredibly powerful Jewish mafia gets you labelled an antisemite etc.... so it's up to the groups to do that in-house, otherwise hatred and resentment against these groups is just going to grow further. They can only lie about the current evils of white people for so long. But if you ask almost anyone in the world, the most desirable places to live are "white" countries. Countries which are extremely welcoming to foreigners and outsiders (some would argue too much). Oh and the media these days does collectively hold white people accountable for the crimes of others - sometimes for crimes committed centuries ago!

So to re-direct this back to the LGBT community - they need to expose and rid themselves of the very real problem of activists using the community to introduce the normalisation of pedophilia. And the reason I say this is because I am compassionate and do not want good-hearted and caring LGBT people to get caught up in this mess and then blamed for the evils of others. Just like I don't want to be held responsible for the crimes of powerful, psychopathic Jews. All it takes is for people to turn a blind eye or keep quiet.

So, it's political to you?

everything is about scoring points man.

Okay, I'll play.

it's not about playing. Everyone knows there are creeps of all backgrounds, political persuasions, genders, orientations, etc. it's accepted that when you post an article about a priest raping an alter boy that you don't mean every single Christian rapes children. But apparently for other groups you have to explicitly state you mean no offense to the wider demographic.

I think that teaching our kids to respect and accept all of their fellow humans regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, etc is more important than the vast majority of shit that is taught in schools. kids learn critical thought and kindness on their own. You can't really teach these things. The best you can do is model good behavior. They'll learn on their own that people will for the most part treat you how you treat them. They will not learn transphobia or homophobia or racism unless it is forced upon them. And even if it is forced upon them they will eventually grow out of it.

I disagree with you about geology. I think we need to be teaching as much science and math as possible. The way we approach foreign languages is ridiculous as well. That needs to start as early as possible. I agree about practical skills though. Finances, first aid, basic mechanics, programming, etc. More job focused learning as well in high school.

Should we be talking about where to touch your penis and vulva in kindergarten? or learning how to color in the lines, wash our hands, the alphabet etc? And maybe leave the sexual stuff to parents?

“Teach kids sex in kindergarten or don’t teach it at all” is a false dichotomy. Sexual repression clearly hasn’t worked so well. Kids should be taught to respect people of other sexualities, safe sex > abstinence, etc. I think we can all agree that asking kindergarteners to draw pictures of their genitals is way over the line, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t teach 5th graders to use a condom and not throw rocks at gay people.

Are you suggesting that American children would benefit from being taught not to question their government and being told how great the Chinese Communist Party is?
I took his comment as maybe we should take what China and Japan are teaching their 3rd grade youngsters and realize that their goals and visions for their future graduates are much more creative and instructional than ours in the USA. We have the right intentions most of the time, and we think we are preparing our children for the world of 2030, but we also have to recognize that other Countries aren't so focused on what we are focused on and those children will have more capabilities than ours will.

I see it all the time with new companies here having more than half of their staff being NOT from the US. Our kids can't compete with the scope of education that their peers are getting. We need to step up and focus our priorities on not who our kids want to make love to but how to compete with their peers.

Maybe all of us here can agree, but increasingly we as a society aren't agreeing.

The more things like this are brought into the light and it's brushed off as insignificant, the more it is accepted, the more it is normalized.

Sexual repression clearly hasn’t worked so well.

We don't expect toddlers to learn how to ride a bike. We don't expect teenagers to pay rent. The sex education course we received was in sixth and seventh grade. And I think that made sense, because here thats the first year out of elementary school. Middle school is a super awkward time. Not really a child anymore but also still a kid. It's like a little cocoon that helps the transition into high school.

Are you suggesting that American children would benefit from being taught not to question their government and being told how great the Chinese Communist Party is?

No, I'm suggesting that other cultures aren't drowning in this over sexualized culture war bullshit. In China and many other countries kids go to school and they LEARN SHIT. It's like we've stopped caring that our education system is absolute trash. It's absurd at this point. But that's for another thread I suppose.

Child sex abuse center hires professor who faced backlash over pedophile comments

Yaron Steinbuch

An academic who resigned from a Virginia university after saying it wasn’t necessarily immoral for adults to be sexually attracted to kids has been hired by a Johns Hopkins University center aimed at preventing child sexual abuse.

“We are excited to share that Allyn Walker, PhD, will be joining the Moore Center as a postdoctoral fellow on May 25,” the Moore Center for Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse in Baltimore tweeted Thursday.

The hire comes about six months after Old Dominion University announced that the 34-year-old would be stepping down as an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice.

Walker was placed on administrative leave Nov. 16 after a firestorm erupted over the educator’s controversial argument that pedophiles should be referred to as “minor-attracted persons.”

Walker insisted that it was important to use the term “minor-attracted persons” instead of “pedophiles” because it’s less stigmatizing.

If we accept this premise that [insert group here] is collectively responsible for the misbehavior of their most dangeous and sordid members, then you would be held responsible for those crimes
Generally I don't agree with this premise, but it's only a thing now due to rampant and extreme political correctness. It's basically a last-ditch effort before my people are actually genocided.

And who would “[your] people” be?

So you're saying that this started with gay people being allowed to be married? Should they not, then, in your view? I can't see how gay marriage has anything to do with transgender issues at all.
Meh, sounds like the same fearmongering that conservatives used when gay marriage first became legal that what next would come is people would try to marry animals :bs:

Actually now that I look closer, the first step on that "slippery slope" was interracial marriage. Or maybe interracial gay marriage? Either way it was no accident that one of them was black and the other white in that meme. Whether that was Grimez' intent, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't, it was certainly part of the intent of whoever designed that meme.

  • Australian Paedophile Support Group (APSG). Founded in 1980 or 1983. Its membership was very small. It was disbanded due to police activity and succeeded by the Boy Lovers and Zucchini Eaters (BLAZE).This group was also dismantled by police.[3]
