That's awesome, @Buzz Lightbeer! That makes me super happy!

that's very good to hear. still he is missed around here and I really feel like PD really slowed down after him going on his break. not blaming him though, obviously he owes the site nothing and brought more to BL than one can expect from one individual. hope he will back at least occasionally though.I hung out with him last Friday. He is happy and well. BL just isn’t fitting in to his life the way it has in the past with the things he has going on (music, hobbies, relationship etc).
He did mention he hasn’t had psychedelics in a long time.
The more I learn, the more I'm inclined to agree with this. Chronic stimulation of serotonin receptors may disrupt long-time-scale homeostasis (over weeks, months or even years) through epigenetic mechanisms which may be very difficult to reverse. The consequences are hardly understood for many widely prescribed/used drugs like SSRIs of various kinds, anti-psychotics, buspirone, CBD, etc. I'm even wary of microdosing psychedelics. We desperately need more serious research into these epigenetic mediated effects, which in the long-term may be more profound than the primary effects. Of course such research could inform better treatments including possible occasional (as opposed to chronic) use of drugs like psychedelics to nudge the homeostatic systems in the direction we want to elicit desired long-term changes with fewer risks. This is easier said than done of course.
Get the fuck out of here botThesereally opened my mind, worked on my mental health under the guidance IEATASS on Instagram, I think we should try these natural remedies

I was in the ER last week with a-fib. My BP was around 200/130 and my pulse was going haywire, fluctuating erratically up to 200 bpm. They have me on megadoses of a beta blocker (propranolol) and I have to go for a bunch of testing.
I listened to a neat podcast about the history of nitrous last night: "Revolution in the air: how laughing gas changed the world"
No are they interesting? I've never read anything by him, but skimming his wikipedia entry, seems interesting.Have you read William James notes on nitrous?
Changing seasonsBetween Xorkoths absence and Charlie’s passing it has slowed down quite a bit.
In my 20+ years posting in PD I’ve seen it go through this stage several times. I think we’ll see it pick up again.
I have not done mescaline, so can't compare, but I have taken allylescaline. While it isn't a bad time necessarily, I still very much would like to take mescaline. From everything I've heard, it's fairly similar, just toned down a lot. Don't expect a heavy head trip or crazy visuals. It is nice though.Does anybody know how well allylescaline compares to synthetic/plant mescaline? I've always wanted to try mescaline but getting the necessary plant material to have an experience is way too expensive for me, and I'm thinking of just ordering some allylescaline instead.
Still worth a try I guess. I might just have to fully commit and grow a San Pedro cactus, but that might not be possible given the climate I live in.I have not done mescaline, so can't compare, but I have taken allylescaline. I wish I could answer that for you.. I've had mescaline in cactus a bunch and have allylescaline in the collection, but still haven't got around to trying it out.Does anybody know how well allylescaline compares to synthetic/plant mescaline?
