Does anyone else experience parranoia when pillin at like a club or rave ? Like, everyones looking at you, dancing funny...etc
I'm only young...and very inexpierenced, but thats the only thing i have been worried about before munching....some people tell me it's lack of sleep that contributes to the parranoia...like i've been on the dance floor and i've heard people say "look at that guy" when like i've been in like a mad trance or something....like..i don't lose all my inhibitions, thats why i like pills...instead of going out drinking etc...but i HATE being parinoid....i guess you just gotta not think about it.

If you're at a rave or a club, most people will be that off their head they won't even notice you. And if they do, and even if you do look silly, they'll be happy coz they'll know you're having a good time.
A few friends and I went to this club type place in north sydney, but everyone was mainly drinking - such a bad atmosphere, aggressive, and the music was terrible. But anyway, we were having a great time, and people were looking at us weird coz we were just too good!

.. One guy nearly started a fight with my friend coz my friend was dancing in front of him. Gaawdd, people act ssoo silly on alcohol. Aggression sux!

dance floor when i started yeah sure
now i dont give a fuck
but ill give you an example of real paranoia
one time i imagined me and my friends were being followed by about 4 or 5 Ds from GO to Xsite and then once i was inside i was trying to spot the Ds who i "thought" was watching me. i was imagining that my friends were on it too and the noisey atmosphere allowed me to misinterpret anything they said. though mind you i had a ball cause i thought they were after one of my friends (who i knew had done nothing wrong) i was playing spy games in the club it rocked. but it turned out it was all fake

its that feeling you get....oh yeah Fukitzpumpin!!!

Actually I've seen you on the dancefloor charlo, you're a terrible dancer!
No wonder why everyone looks at you funny. Don't you know that the Nutbush went out of fashion years ago?
GET WITH IT!

hahahaha JB! :P
Charlo: Dance like no one is watching! You dont have to dance in a *certain* style to be in with everybody else. You dance how you want to dance, be "FREE" on the dancefloor my friend!

Yup, have experienced major paranoia occassionally, but only after huge nights.
I have many stories, but I wont bore you with all of them, but there was one time where I had been out to a huge party and a recovery and had taken like 4 or 5 pills and some whizz (through the night not all at once!) and I'll be grooving awaying at some silly recovery party at 8 in the morning and I got this feeling that everyone is just looking at me. I'd be asking all my friends why everyone was looking at me, hey even asked a stranger, how that for mega paranoid. So I stopped dancing for a bit and check to see what people were doing and I swear everyone was staring at me, it got to a point where I couldn't cope with the "attention" I went home....quite funny really when I look back at it.
Maybe they were looking at me 'cause I was well off my tree...then again who knows.
Ah, the things we do......... :-)

Whenever i get this i just put on a huge grin and if someone is seriously staring you just givem two thumbs and roll your eyes back as if to say shit this is intense and 9 times outta 10 i get the thumbs and grin back - and hey presto, paranoya gone and everyones on a happy vibe

but you must admit there r some folks out there who swing those arms and pump those elbows with little respect for those around them...four stiches in a head wound is my testimony to that statement

I've been thinking about this a bit lately. But it's kind of pointless as dance is just doing what you feel like - trying to pinpoint what dance is would be like putting a monopoly on what movements you are supposed to make in the definition dance and then that wouldn't be an expression of movement, it'd be aerobics. Move dammit.

fireal..............what about the established ballroom dancing???? they have set moves !!!! and also....does that apply to sticking your head into the nearest speaker????
heheheheheee, ............now that s freeform for ya!!!!!!!

I really enjoy watching someone who knows how to move. There is usually one that really stands out in a night.
I wouldn't say Im a classical dancer...or even a good one. I do what feels fun, and I always get heaps of smiles back at me, so I can't be doing that bad.
I don't spend my night bitching about how bad someone dances, thats just wasted energy. But I do give compliments to people who make my night...and that usually keeps them going for longer with a huge smile on their face too.

lol.. last night at the globe the pill allowed me to finally work out how to do that dance the doofers do where you rotate on the spot yet look like you're running.. i dunno how to describe :-]
i was just dancing around and i figured out how to do it and i did it for the rest of the night.. i had the biggest grin on my face when i had finally got it, a girl came up to me and asked in a pommy accent.. "hey there, you look like you're having a good time, do you know where i can get any ecsteecee?"
i was actually gonna say "bluelight"... but then decided on a simple "nup".
:-]

paranoid? me? never!!!
I dont care what I look like cause the way I dance is how the music makes me go. Stand back and have a look at the crowd and everyone is dancing just as silly as you may be.
If you smile at someone they will smile back at you. That is the best time to go up and say hi and make a friend for the night hehehe

Yep, I get the paranoia thing happening too.... especially if I'm dancing with my eyes closed (makes me feel the music more) but I keep opening my eyes coz I feel like people are looking at me because I've got my eyes closed.... and I'm absolutely positive that people are looking at me when I know really they aren't (possibly) lol
I had this weird thing happen at the Mardi Gras dance party when I was dancing with my eyes closed and this guy next to me clapped... my eyes popped open and I looked around like I'd just woken up or something, realised what it was and closed my eyes again... then he clapped again - they eys popped open and he was laughing like a nutter at me.... weird shit... i went and danced somewhere else.....

YEAH Ginger thats excatly what i meant by posting this topic....i was a little tired...and i didn't phrase my question the way i really wanted to...but you understood what i meant...Your story is extacly what i meant.
A few other people have also talked about not dancing stupidilly....but like..thinking people are looking at you, when you don't really know for sure. I think with me, it's just a confidence thing...i'll get over it soon
smile.gif

What's worse is paranoia when you at home (alone) and coming down and you think the place is on fire....looking at the carpet and you think it's swirling smoke but can;t be sure cause your vision is that screwed!! Tried listening for the fire alarm and checked the corridor, still couldn't figure out if there was a fire or not. Got to the point where I couldn't give a damn and just resigned to the fact that I'll burn to death...*hehehe* So I just sat in the bath tub and fell asleep....not fun when you jolt up awake in cold water some 10 hours later.....*ick*
PS Who's planning on doing Subline @ Home on Thursday (20th April) I hear Binary Finary are on. :-)

i always closes eyes when i dancing. with the music going, i'm in another world. if i feel uncomfortable( like someone clapping which that person a wanka) dancing at that spot. i just move to a friendlier area
