Pains after MDMA

On Saturday night I took MD, I'm not a regular user but I've done it a few times before. I took more than I've taken before and I was loving it (as normal) I took a gram with me but shared most of it with a friend and didn't even finish it all. This morning (Monday) I woke up and had a mild pain in the middle of my chest which then moved to my heart. I panicked a lot and searched online at what this could mean, someone had written heart attack and I instantly freaked out and searched more about it. They said the symptoms were anxiety and feeling sick which I think just panicked me so I started to feel sick and feel all kinds of weird which I think was due to me being scared. I have done no way near as much as any of my friends and they don't seem to have this problem and seem to think it's fairly safe. I did not accept any other drugs or anything from anyone else at this place. I am so so scared, I would really appreciate any help you could give me incase it carries on or gets worse. Is going to the doctors sooner rather than later going to help? PLEASE HELP

I experienced chest pains, as did a very fit friend of mine, after candyflipping. It went away a few hours after we woke up though.

I'd assume MDMA could have an effect on your heart, but I'm wondering if what you took was actually MDMA. Amphetamines and other RCs like cathinones can seem like MDMA to the unexperienced user and those are much more cardiotoxic. With that being said I would not worry about it too much. Your anxiety is probably exacerbating your symptoms, and you anxiety worsened by having recently used a monoamine releaser, and as such try not to think about it. If it's really bothering you then go see a doctor and tell them what you took etc. You won't get in trouble and just having them tell you that you should just give it time could give you peace.

I had that too after an intense Mdma experience.

Really, you're symptoms are probably psychosomatic. If you didn't overheat or drink enough water then you shouldn't worry too much.
Try to not worry about it, and if it worsens go to a cardiologist and let him check out your heart.

Some people with cardiac or heart related problems don't react well with MDxx.
Think about this: If you would get an heart attack, it would have happened during your roll. Not afterwards. By the way, people tend to get more anxiety on Mdma comedowns. Considering your roll happened just recently, it could be that anxiety/insecurity, mostly psychosomatic. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for ur reply. I get real bad anxiety and I think it was my mind playing tricks if I'm honest.
I've never had heart pains on MD before either.

Once again, thanks so much for your reply. Made me feel a lot better :)

You should still be careful, chestpains can be an indication of constriction of the heart. In most cases it's harmless but if the chest pains get any worse or you feel more pressure, pain in left arm or any kind of indication that it might actually be a heart problem go to a doctor. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Especially with stimulant use as they can be bad for the heart. But, in most cases, it's harmless. And for a lot of people, hearing from a doctor that there is no problem is often the best cure :)

I'm having this at the moment and have been for a week now. Went to the doctors and they said everything was fine. I expect it's down to anxiety i think that's what's up with me if they couldn't see anything. Wishing you a speedy recovery though!

I've had these bad chest feelings too. It feels more like heart burns than chest pains. It's my second week having these & idk if they're getting worse or better but I hope they can clear out soon. Any help or information on what I may have ? Would help alot :l

Yeah, I purely think it's down to anxiety! I suffer from heart burn quite a lot I think it was all a panick. Thanks very much for everyone's replies :) much appreciated, has made me feel a lot better x
