Isn't endone Oxycodone? Why do you need APAP with your Oxy?

Even with APAP, oxycodone would never be OTC.

Im in the states at the moment where hydrocodone (7.5mg with 750mg APAP) is prescribed for things like ear ache, bad flues, infections etc. hydrocodone cough syrup is also prescribed for bad coughs. however, no opiates, even codiene, are available over the counter, so that is the flip side. If your in pain, you pretty much need to see a doctor.

I have no idea why hydrocodone is not prescribed. we have a very strict presciption regime compared to the US in regards to benzos and opiates.
