Decided to make a thread for this year outdoors, last time was a bit of a joke due to my own faults and the absolute shit weather. I'm hoping we'll get a good summer around here, it's crap for now.

1st week of their life they were standing in soil with a low nutrient content, started the purple powers in jiffy pots with coco soil (can't recommend doing that), the rest in small pots with used soil from last grows (flushed and all). Transferred them to 2 litre pots after the 1st week into a mix of 1/3 coco soil and 2/3 all-mix. Now they're standing in 7 litre pots with all-mix only.

Plants are 3 and a half weeks on the pictures below, they're almost 5 weeks old now. Gonna take some pics in a couple of days.

I started a whole bunch of seeds indoors, ended up with 22 plants or something. Out of the 10 purple powers (feminised) 7 made it, 4 showed balls, pinched them off right away and they're doing fine now.

Out of the 10 Orange bud seeds 9 sprouted, ended up with 4 females, the most of them were males unfortunately, too bad the males looked better as the females did, weird thing is that 3 of the females are pretty tall and lanky, while ALL of the males are extremely short and branchy. Usually it's the other way around.. Anyways, got the 1 short female right below, pretty tight internodal branching, definitely gonna make some seeds with her.

Had 2 pure power plant seeds lying around which both turned out to be female! Pretty lucky there.

I also germed 1 power plant seed, for fun, ended up with a very nice extremely fast growing male, which I'm going to use to pollinate a couple of plants.

Last but not least, germed a couple of unknown bagseeds under 12/12 and ended up with 2 plants, 1 male the other female, threw the male out, topped the female and put it back in veg. That's the weird ass looking plant here.

Clones are coming next week, I believe tuesday, so by then some plants are gonna be transferred to the great outdoors. It's getting pretty full in there now..

that's really cool man, those plants look really nice. Enjoy...:)

^ Today has been great! :) Around 25 degrees celcius, transported most of the purples, the bagseed and some orange buds to outside (for now). Inside the box they're growing like mad, but I'm afraid the higher temperatures (30 degrees) will make some of them too stretchy. Others could use a bit of stretching, especially the ones which I've transferred to 7 litre pots only a couple of days ago (was too lazy to get myself some good soil). Those haven't grown very much since the last time I made these pics.

Aaw, nah it's the soil mix and the great weather.. =D

Here's some pics from the ones I've moved outside. They're crap pics because I couldn't get my hands on a better camera, colours and details are a bit distorted, but you get an overall impression of how they look.

Anyways, first up are two of the Orange Buds, little one is around 55 cm and the big one about 75-80 cm.

These are all of the Purples except for one, which is still recovering from the late re-potting, together with the PPP's and 2 of the OB's. I've topped 3 of them and I FIM-ed one accidentally.

And the bagseed again, which has a crazy amount of sidebranching, I think due to the 12/12 cycle it was started in..

hey man

Nice plants

If your plants don't keep a consitence, like short and bushy to tall and skinny, It just means the seeds that you used don't come from an actual "Strain" of weed yet. Its two diffrent plants used to make the plant, wat ever they call it (breeding?)- im brain dead righ now. Now, before A plant can be given a name and entered into the Cannibus cup, your plants have to be consistent from seed. You make 100 plants from Xweed and BWeed
You pick out the ones that look most alike and the ones that are growing how you wanted them to grow, Ie: all the plants that are short and bushy. Now you take the seeds from the first plants and grow them, and pick the ones that look most the same and so on. It will take a few breeding seasons before you get consistent growth out of all your seeds. See wat i mean?

I think your orange buds show this the most, one is tall the other is short, the short one is dark while the tall one is lighter, I bet they give diffrent buzzes.

And....Buy dirty...Its worth it. Music, classical-mozart. almost double your plant growth, not so good now that there out side, but for next year.

You mean as in different phenotypes? I'm aware of that, but that wasn't really what I meant. I meant that most of the times the males will grow higher faster and won't be as bushy as the females, while I've only got one bushy female this time around, all the males initially looked like females looking at their growth pattern.

Those 2 orange buds you see actually are of the same phenotype (is what I'm reckoning), the smaller one got started a couple of days later and is standing in all-mix only (hence the darker colour of the leaves, more nutes), the taller one in 2/3 all-mix & 1/3 coco peat. You can clearly see the other phenotype in one of the first pics, short and extremely bushy, that's how I expected all of them to turn out actually.

hey

ya, I think thats what its called. Even still, your orange buds are difenatly not going to be the same. atleast it looks that way.

one plants gonna get you high and the other is gonna get you stoned

It's been a month already since the last update..

6 of the plants have moved house and are standing with a friend of mine. Kept 3 orange buds, 3 purples, the bagseed and one pure power plant. I only made a couple of pics, cause I still have to work with that crappy cam of mine, hope to make a couple of good pics in the coming days, I can't make decent pictures of the bigger plants with this cam (so you'll get to see the ugly looking plants for now =D)

I made 2 clones, 1 purple clone and a clone of the bagseed, the latter looking way better as it's mom. Also bought 5 white widow clones from the growshop, are almost 2 weeks old by now, rooted and grew them a little bit inside under the HPS, they're looking great now. Haven't made pics of them yet though.

First 3 pics are of the purples, you can clearly see the difference in phenoytpes, 2 of them have already started flowering ~3 weeks ago because of their autoflowering genes (crossed with a ruderalis). But one of those two has a sativa-ish look (tall and strectchy), while the other has an indica type look (short and busy). The last one you see is the biggest of the bunch, but it's only a pic of the top of the plant. Huge-ass sativa girl (she doubled in size, now 160 cm or something), no flowering as of yet, she hasn't even shown sex (although it most probably will be a female, they're feminised seeds)..

The fourth plant you see is one of the PPP's. Stayed small because of late re-potting (again, she was even yellowing a bit already) and the bad weather here (she literally drowned 2-3 days in a row), but I'm glad she made it, she looked even worse a week or two ago.. Really awful. She's a lighter green than any of the other plants I have, probably won't recover fully from it, but oh well.

Last pic is of the bagseed. She has recovered from a split stem (I wanted to bend her but it snapped where she was topped), so she stayed relatively short as well. Also cut away lot's of small useless branches from beneath. Re-potted her only a week or two ago, now standing in a 50 litre pot, the last 5-7 days she's growing steadily again.

Gonna update this thread with the other plants tomorrow, I hope.

First two are the WW clones, the third is one of my own, made it out of that bagseed.

^ It's just a little green! =D

nice plants BM and i'm sure the buds will look even better

I sure hope so, always a gamble if you're flowering outside. Especially around here, it's too humid and too cold to let a plant fully mature. But that's why I'll take a couple of plants to flower inside when they're beginning to show pre-flowers outside, probably 2 white widows, the bagseed clone and the one orange bud I only have one pic of (in my first post), which is absolutely gorgeous, stayed short compared to all the other orange buds, but is sooo bushy that I could've sworn I've topped her or something.
