Covid-19 Outbreak of new SARS-like coronavirus (Covid-19)

It is so sad that people cannot date and have a love life now!
especially for the young people.
It just breaks my heart that now you cannot even have love or be within 6 feet of one another.

I am not participating in this bullshit.

Enough is enough.

The danger of loosing all our civil liberties is far greater than the threat from any virus in my opinion.
Not to mention people are going to be starving to death.

I already had the virus anyway.
so, I have antibodies against it.

I do not live in fear!

People who had the virus are getting reinfected. You’re going to do what you want, but I don’t want you dying over this shit. You don’t need to be out there protesting in a crowd if that’s your plan.

There was a huge protest in Michigan, but I have no problem with the governor telling us to stay home to try to stop this from spreading. It was a bunch of Trump assholes anyway, but we need to just lay low until it’s safe. Michigan has a high case of COVID so it’s dumb for them to be out there in a crowd with no masks and no protection. It’s only making things worst.

I’m hoping you don’t go out into a crowd. I understand you’re getting antsy, but it is a serious threat. Again, people are getting reinfected so you’re not exactly immune even if you had it. Just concerned. 😘♥️

Here is a very interesting timeline of potentially-relevant events:

Why did trump and his people repeatedly call the corona virus a democratic hoax? Why did he side with China and praise them for their transparency rather than calling them out at the start if the evidence was so obvious. Also those weren't really travel bans they were restrictions and many people still traveled to the US from those locations after the 'bans'.

When someone lies as much as Trump how can you take anything they say seriously especially at a time like this. I don't mean making false/empty campaign promises or not telling the truth about some war related stuff; stuff like flat out making up statistics and facts to fit some campaign narrative. How are people supposed to trust him or his administration seriously when they talk about the number of ventilators or tests.

It would also help if Trump stay on topic and stopped personally attacking reporters for asking the most basic of questions.

Could you imagine the outcry from right wing media if a dem randomly brought up an opponent's alleged sexual assault allegation at a time and place like that when they were asked a legit question about life saving medical equipment.

Florida Governor DeSantis failed to issue a stay at home order until April 1st. Now, just 17 days later, Jacksonville's beaches are reopening to "essential" activities.

Beaches, parks to reopen in Jacksonville, Fla., on Friday

The mayor of Jacksonville, Fla., said that the city's beaches and parks will reopen at 5 p.m. Friday, but with restrictions as the coronavirus outbreak continues across the state and country.

The beaches and parks will be open for essential activities only, which per Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R) executive order include walking, biking, hiking, fishing, running, swimming and surfing as long as social distancing guidelines are followed.

“This can be the beginning of the pathway back to normal life,” Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry (R) said Thursday. “Please respect and follow these limitations. Stay within the guidelines for your safety as well as for the safety of your neighbors.”

Additionally, parks will resume their normal operating hours, but the city's beaches will only be open for use between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. and then 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Certain park activities such as overnight camping and organized group gatherings are still prohibited, according to Curry's statement.

Measures to reopen the economy have become a central talking point across the nation as cities and states feel the impact of nationwide lockdowns.

President Trump on Thursday unveiled guidance for a phased reopening of the U.S. economy but left the final decision to states' governors.

DeSantis faced criticism in late March after initially resisting pressure to close state beaches and issue a stay-at-home order.

He issued an official statewide stay-at-home order on April 1, which was set to last for 30 days.

Gov. DeSantis says Florida is 3rd in the nation for coronavirus testing, but numbers tell a different story

Gov. Ron DeSantis has boasted that he significantly ramped up testing for the new coronavirus, making Florida No. 3 in the country for tracking the disease.

While that’s true for the raw number of tests performed, Florida doesn’t do as well when adjusting for population, only falling near the middle.

That’s based on a South Florida Sun Sentinel review of data collected by The COVID Tracking Project, a volunteer effort to compile state-by-state tallies of testing data.

RELATED: Testing falls woefully short as Trump seeks to lift stay-at-home orders »

On a per-capita basis, Florida is No. 22 in the country, having conducted 1,002 tests for every 100,000 residents. New York, the epicenter of the outbreak, has tested more than twice as much, doing 2,703 tests for every 100,000 people.

I’m so sick of Trump (and his moronic followers) blaming everything on Dems and Obama. Fact is, it’s the left AND right’s fault. They’re all in on it together. Trump is in bed with Putin. These different countries work together behind the scenes. I wouldn’t doubt if the US helped spread COVID, even IF it originated in China.

Hell, US government brought Nazis over here after WWII so that the Germans could teach them mind control/programming. So it’s not like the US never joins forces with other countries to fuck over their own people in America.

More evidence by the day that this was a US production but some people REALLY wanna blame China.

"There'll be an influx of patients alright, hospitals will be inundated, the dead and dying will litter hospital hallways, and soon.

But these will not be covid-19 patients.

They are and will be the millions of sick who have been deprived of primary care for months by government lies and public hysteria.

But let's look on the bright side: those who will die, and ARE dying because of the lock downs, can all be recorded as having died as a direct result of 'covid-19' aka the latest deadly scam by psychopaths in positions of power."

Everything happens in this universe for a reason. This crisis is a catalyst for change and shift from old thought patterns into a better world. No growth without pain and suffering. I saw every single event from the start of the big bang to the end of this very universe before on breakthroughs. I knew some bad shit was going to go down in 2020 but this is only the beginning wait til the world gets really fucked up in 2036. This is like childs play to some extreme viruses that could appear not to mention world war 3 will come before 2050. Next century will be better. The Chinese have fucked this planet environmentally now the universe is simply correcting that course. Once this virus mutates and the second wave comes is when shit will acutally get real and young heathly people will drop dead like flies. This virus also has HIV genomes encoded within it this is early days the long term side effects will become very clear over the next two years. This shit is going to be around for a long time. Vaccines are not been able to cure this stuff its already to wide spread and the closest safest vaccine is at least 18 months away by then its to late. Jgrimez your timeline was linking a bunch of unrelated stuff together. Fort derrick has unstable mentally ill people as researchers though and that crazy fucking bastard who did the anthrax attacks grew his shit there and his colleagues are just as fucking nuts as him let him do it. So thats about the only thing going for your theory those anti life anti americans in fort derrick bio weapons program are completely fucked in the head and should of all been thrown into Guantanamo bay for the 2001 anthrax attacks.

Rightwing groups behind wave of protests against Covid-19 restrictions

by Jason Wilson | The Guardian | 17 April 2020

Protesters in Michigan and other states who claim to speak for ordinary citizens are supported by street-fighting far-right groups.

A wave of planned anti-lockdown demonstrations that have broken out around the country to protest against the efforts of state governments to combat the coronavirus pandemic with business closures and stay-at-home orders have included far-right groups as well as more mainstream Republicans.

While protesters in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and other states claim to speak for ordinary citizens, many are also supported by street-fighting rightwing groups like the Proud Boys, conservative armed militia groups, religious fundamentalists, anti-vaccination groups and other elements of the radical right.

On Wednesday in Lansing, Michigan, a protest put together by two Republican-connected not-for-profits was explicitly devised to cause gridlock in the city, and for a time blocked the entrance to a local hospital.

It was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, which Michigan state corporate filings show has also operated under the name of Michigan Trump Republicans. It was also heavily promoted by the Michigan Freedom Fund, a group linked to the Trump cabinet member Betsy DeVos.

But the protest also attracted far-right protest groups who have been present at pro-Trump and gun rights rallies in Michigan throughout the Trump presidency.

Zombie protestors trying to get in.

Protests against US stay-at-home orders gain support from rightwing figures

Placards identified the Michigan Proud Boys as participants in the vehicle convoy. Near the state house, local radio interviewed a man who identified himself as “Phil Odinson.”

In fact the man is Phil Robinson, the prime mover in a group called the Michigan Liberty Militia, whose Facebook page features pictures of firearms, warnings of civil war, celebrations of Norse paganism and memes ultimately sourced from white nationalist groups like Patriot Front.

The pattern of rightwing not-for-profits promoting public protests while still more radical groups use lockdown resistance as a platform for extreme rightwing causes looks set to continue in events advertised in other states over coming days.

In Idaho on Friday, protesters plan to gather at the capitol building in Boise to protest anti-virus restrictions put in place by the Republican governor, Brad Little.

The protest has been heavily promoted by the Idaho Freedom Foundation (IFF), which counts among its donors “dark money” funds linked to the Koch brothers such as Donors Capital Fund, and Castle Rock, a foundation seeded with part of the fortune of Adolph Coors, the rightwing beer magnate.

IFF have added their slogan for the event, “Disobey Idaho,” to stickers which they plan to distribute among the crowd.

The event is also being promoted on a website dedicated to attacking Little for his response to Covid-19. That website was set up by the Idaho businessman, pastor and one-time Republican state senate candidate, Diego Rodriguez.

Rodriguez launched the website at an Easter service held in defiance of the governor’s orders on Easter Sunday, which was also addressed by Ammon Bundy, the leader of the militia occupation of the Malheur national wildlife refuge in 2016 that become a rallying point for the anti-government right in the US.

Bundy has been holding similar gatherings for weeks in Emmett, Idaho, where he now lives. On Sunday, he repeated his opposition to the Idaho orders, writing on Facebook: “We all have a duty to defend what is right and to make sure, that what God has given, man does not take away. Especially that great gift of agency, YES freedom!”

Ada county, Idaho, where the capital, Boise, is located, has so far suffered 541 cases of Covid-19 and nine deaths, in a state which has a far worse outbreak than neighboring Oregon, which is 2.4 times more populous.

Nevertheless, the ad for the rally on Rodriguez’s website advises, “We feel that wearing face masks and gloves is counterproductive to the movement, and should be avoided.”

r

Trump calls protesters against stay-at-home orders 'very responsible.'

In Washington state, meanwhile, which for now has brought one of the worst outbreaks in the country under a measure of control, a Republican state committeeman, Tyler Miller, has organized a protest at the state capitol on Saturday.

Miller, who is active in the Kitsap county Republican party, was involved in passing a resolution in January in support of representative Matt Shea, who was excluded from the state house’s GOP caucus after a report commissioned by house found that he had participated in domestic terrorism.

Hundreds of Facebook users have indicated that they will be attending his “Hazardous Liberty” rally, and a parallel event in Richland, Washington.

Included in that number are members of the 3% of Washington, a group which has held a series of open-carry rallies in Seattle, featuring speeches from the far-right protest leader, Joey Gibson.

As for Shea, he is speaking on Saturday at an online “Saving America” conference which will discuss an alleged erosion of rights “that’s been ramped up in unprecedented ways during this Covid-19 crisis.”

He is scheduled to appear alongside the likes of close ally Pastor Ken Peters, who has been holding monthly services outside Spokane’s planned parenthood clinic; the actor, Maga personality and congressional candidate Mindy Robinson; and the New Zealand-based anti-communist speaker and author Trevor Loudon.

Other similar events have been advertised for Saturday by an anti-vaccination activist in Oregon, and for Friday by a Boston group with alt-right connections.

Not sure how that's related to the timeline I've barely mentioned Trump regarding all this so far. As for the hoax I believe he was referring specifically to how the Democrats' were attempting to paint Trump in the media (nothing new). Even in the midst of a pandemic his detractors will jump at every opportunity they get to make him look bad. It was originally the Democrats who were telling the entire public, their constituents, that this was all nothing to worry about, go outside in crowds and that Trump was racist for enforcing travel restrictions. Now his restrictions were not strong enough? I don't know if they've even admitted that they were completely wrong back then and that their advice was potentially dangerous. I hope they weren't just saying all that stuff originally to "get Trump".

When someone lies as much as Trump how can you take anything they say seriously especially at a time like this. I've proven that the WHO lies, that Fauci lies, that governments are lying about the statistics. For someone to say "Trump lies therefore completely trust the WHO" is just nonsense.

It would also help if Trump stay on topic and stopped personally attacking reporters for asking the most basic of questions.
They should ask better questions. Some of these reporters are idiots or just looking for a gotcha. There was one reporter from OANN who actually asked a good question and mentioned how tyrannical the Michigan governor is becoming with her new rules. I loved the question but was very underwhelmed by Trump's response I expected more from him because that's a very serious issue.

Once this virus mutates and the second wave comes is when shit will acutally get real and young heathly people will drop dead like flies.
I agree with some stuff you said and I do think there is an actual pandemic waiting in the wings (what we're seeing now is not a pandemic by the true definition). The thing that people don't realize is that the authorities that they trust for health advice and to keep them safe are actually now putting them in a worse position to survive an actual pandemic. Notice how they're never talking about what people can actually do to strengthen their immune systems - unless it comes with some kind of financial rewards such as in medications/vaccines - but many experts have credible arguments as to why Big Pharma medication is actually doing the opposite and hurting our immune systems. But that's not a scientific discussion that's allowed -if you suggest those things you're a dangerous conspiracy theorist.

Jgrimez your timeline was linking a bunch of unrelated stuff together.
That's what you think because you've already made up your mind.
It's funny how the story was originally "bat soup". Suggesting it came from the Wuhan biolab was a conspiracy theory. Now the overton window got pushed and it's accepted to suggest that this came out of a Chinese lab. But suggesting it was brought to China via US military is a conspiracy theory. I'm curious to see at what point that becomes a credible theory (although it is an official stance in China atm)

Well yeah that opens up a ton of other questions and actually lends weight to my hypothesis.

BTW I obviously get why people don't trust China. But to then go and trust what the US says, who have a much more sophisticated propaganda network is just crazy.
A comment like this for eg:
RT is Russian state propaganda, @JGrimez....it's about as trustworthy as my ex. ;)
When someone says this to me I know that they're simply ignorant and they're running a script that comes out when prompted. RT is still one of the most accurate sources of news that are out there right now. If someone dismisses that fact with "Russian state news" what they're actually accidentally saying is that the Russian government is more honest and forthcoming than the US government. Because if I asked Mr Sunrise to list me news sources that they found more reputable than RT I'm sure I could find the direct links that source has to US government interests and officials.

Here a summary of the interview with Luc Montagnier (French virologist, Nobel Prize for his discovery of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
A long-time researcher at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, he currently works as a full-time professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.)

The Wuhan laboratory has been specialising in this type of virus for a long time, since the 2000s.

Luc Montagnier and a mathematician friend analyzed the genome and concluded that the genome of this new coronavirus had sequences from another virus, oh surprise, from the HIV virus.
(but they were not the first to see this, he cites a group of Indian researchers who came to the same conclusion but were forced to retract their study)
He says this cannot be a natural mutation caused by HIV patients affected by Covid19, as such a mutation requires molecular tools, i.e. it is an alteration made in the laboratory.

The reporter then asks whether this was done intentionally to create a biological weapon or is the consequence of a problem that arose in the attempt to create an HIV vaccine:

Luc M. wants to believe that it is rather the second hypothesis. Humans like to play sorcerer's apprentice but nature doesn't like these disharmonizations and tries to eliminate "foreign bodies" from the coronavirus genome through a very rapid mutation as the virus passes from one person to another. It has been found that the virus of the last infected people, such as the west coast of the US for example, contains much less of these intrusive sequences.

All this will resolve itself naturally, but to avoid further deaths, patients could be treated with waves interfering with the waves behind these RNA sequences, he suggests.

Reporter: You're not in danger of being called a conspirator?

No, the conspirators are on the other side, the ones who's hiding the truth from you, he answers.

He thinks that the vaccine "slip up" was done in China and hopes that China will recognize it.
In any case, he says, what is important is to really work to find the truth and not to hide it from people, which discredits science.

Belgium has overtaken Spain and now has the highest number of fatalities per capita outside of the microstates Andorra and San Marino. Here is a chart of all countries with over 100 deaths per 1 million population. Notably, over 0.1% of San Marino's entire population has died from COVID.

There are at least two explanations for the high mortality rate in Belgium. The first is related to the rather dramatic situation in a number of homes for the elderly into which the virus has penetrated. As many as 45 percent of all deaths relate to deaths at gerontology centers.

While the well-equipped health care system has shown strong resilience, it seems that nursing homes have been neglected and clearly lacked adequate protection.

Another explanation relates to statistics: unlike in other countries, Belgium included all deaths in nursing homes, regardless of whether they were tested for coronavirus or not, based solely on the presence of some symptoms or the probability that the corona is the cause of death.

Health Minister Megi de Bloch is now announcing a change in methods so that the numbers do not seem so alarmingly higher than in other countries.

When someone says this to me I know that they're simply ignorant and they're running a script that comes out when prompted. I'm assuming you've watched RT. I'm also assuming you've thought about what you're being told.

Which leaves me confused as to why you find RT to be "one of the most accurate sources of news".

Also, since you like to think of yourself as being a free-thinking person: the quality of any other news source says nothing about whether or not RT is Russian state propaganda.

You can't negate the fact that RT is a Kremlin mouthpiece by attempting to deflect. Poor form.

Do you know where RT get their funding from?

From Wikipedia: "RT (formerly Russia Today) is a Russian government-funded international television network.[5] [6]".

Sources for the above being:

Do you honestly believe that a kleptocratic authoritarian government run by a gang of oligarchs and sycophants is willing to allow its international broadcasting arm to be anything but a mouthpiece?

Wait, don't tell me, let me guess..........Russia isn't a kleptocratic authoritarian state. 😂

I know, man, and Stalin and Hitler were the most misunderstood cunts of the 20th century. 🙄

PS: Me being someone who could honestly be accused of "running a script when prompted" would have anyone who knows me asking about the accuser's mental health.

Damn you're really doubling down with this. Based on world events the most honest mainstream sources I've seen (lately) have been PressTV and RT. Coincidentally from Iran/Russia, 2 of the most hated and demonized states by Western MSM. Now I'm not a huge fan of either of those regimes (especially Iran) but I assess the news for what it is and then attempt to verify it elsewhere and whenever possible with people on the ground (I'm in contact with many people from many different countries). So it's quite telling to me personally that two of these states who are supposed to be worst are actually being more honest than news sources from the USA, Australia, UK etc. Now I would prefer that I could trust sources from the West more so but that's their fault for being consistently deceptive.

Which leaves me confused as to why you find RT to be "one of the most accurate sources of news".
It became most apparent for me during the Syrian civil war when they were reporting much more honestly and the West was trying to feed us piles of shit.

Also, since you like to think of yourself as being a free-thinking person: the quality of any other news source says nothing about whether or not RT is Russian state propaganda. You can't negate the fact that RT is a Kremlin mouthpiece by attempting to deflect. Poor form.
This translates to me as "I trust American propaganda and they tell me your sources are Russian propaganda. I am a Westerner therefore I trust my media more, simply for the chance of where I was born and what I was brought up to believe. I also am not in regular contact with anyone from Russia". You sound like a Russophobe as in the sense that the Russian government could never report on anything accurately or be telling the truth. Fallacious and heavily-biased thinking.

Do you know where RT get their funding from?
Pick your go-to news source and tell me where they receive their funding from? I'm curious. And then tell me why they are more trustworthy.

Do you honestly believe that a kleptocratic authoritarian government run by a gang of oligarchs and sycophants is willing to allow its international broadcasting arm to be anything but a mouthpiece?
The irony is palpable.

It must be this delusion that some people have that western news outlets are the "free press" or actually report in an unbiased fashion.
By the way I'm not saying "RT is truth, American MSM is fake news". Both sides get it right and get it wrong sometimes. I still think the mainstream media for the most part is full of it. But I just make a call on individual articles and if I notice a pattern of BS coming from a certain source and accurate info coming from another then I'm likely to focus more attention on the source getting it right.

So again this scripted auto-response of "RT is Russian propaganda!" every time someone links an RT article is just preventing you from learning and receiving potentially accurate news.
