This is a separate issue/agenda but yea there's been an agenda to stop people from consuming meat. Before covid19 it was "cow farts" and trying to convince people not to eat meat either by lying and saying it's contributing to manmade global warming or lying and telling people that meat is bad for their health. Truth is animal products are essential (B12) which helps people think and function normally and there was even a massive meta-analysis study which was censored recently because it was credible and showed that consuming meat didn't lead to any excess mortality.

So many people are living paycheck to paycheck. Not everyone is entitled to government socalism benefits and for many people they are not enough to keep their heads above water.

It's actually the most simple of biology. Let's remove you from this system and put you in the middle of nowhere. How do you survive? You need to eat. So better get to WORK! You can either go out hunting or begin farming or both. Need shelter? Better do that work to build yourself a structure. In fact if you ever stop working you wither away and die. It's a biological necessity and fact of existence.

Ayn Rand is probably more conservative than me. Her concept was that too many people were willing to work; i.e. participate in predatory work conditions and it was up to them to refuse to work. Hence why a minimum wage is unnecessary. I think you're missing the point. You don't HAVE to work. It is NOT biological. It's not like you'll die if you get on unemployment. Many people live while on unemployment.
If I was in the middle of nowhere, then I would not need a government's permission to end the lockdown.
People who end up starting their own businesses end up becoming more conservative simply based on the experience of taking care of themselves and the government making it as difficult as possible. Now they've made it impossible for many people and destroyed much of their chances in the future. Even if they open up with new bullshit restrictions like certain businesses only allowed to operate at 50% of their original capacity. Most businesses can't survive running at 50%.
Unemployment benefits are a privilege for richer countries. For most people in the world they either work or relatives look after them or they die.
