Wow...

I actually.. Entirely agree with you there. Apart from simply saying "but they're stupid", I could mistake it for something I'd written. Right down to the same argument.

I know how you feel, it's super frustrating.

They always point to gun related crime cause the whole "success" kinda falls apart otherwise.

Im so glad you twos are becoming one ...

Sweden didn't lock down - no significant difference in cases or deaths. Case closed. Lockdowns are stupid, ineffective, will do more harm than good and if you don't realize that by now then you're simply a slave to mainstream media bullshit and I'm getting sick of it (this is directed at everyone in the world who refuses to get it).

So a single outlier is enough to totally ignore every other country. OK. You don't think cultural variance is enough to explain that? Sweden is not exactly the most touchy-feely super social country nor does it have a very high population density.

I'm noticing a pattern here. You know, there's a few people born with tails too, is that indicative of a conspiracy to supress our natural tail development by chemicals in the water?

They removed the study of themselves from academia.

Uh, what? No studies of psychopaths, hm?

With the proper education we could recognize and ostracize them, but instead they run the show and virtually everyone is none the wiser.

Yeah, uh, down with the Jewish cabal. Fucking Rothschilds running the world. oh wait, you meant psychopaths.

Whatever floats your boat, I guess. To you I'm a blinded sheeple socialist, but to me I see no benefits to ascribing malicious intent to everyone in any position of power. My standard of evidence is obviously much different from yours, usually an independently verifiable news artcle or peer reviewed paper is enough for me. I don't believe every single thing I read, mind you - this "critical thinking" thing you may know of - but I don't spend my days trying to ascribe some deep conspiracy to every event either.

So the President can't open or close states, the governors control that. Though, Trump is catching a ration of noise for what some states are choosing to do...as if it were his decision (we know he thinks it should be...he should have a say on EVERYTHING).

Anyway, my point for posting is that the states are deciding how, and when, and under what criteria they will open back up to what degree based on the governor's decisions. They can take the federal suggestions under consideration, or not, but it's their decision. Some states are in turn passing that decision to the counties. After all, some are sparsely populated and can operate differently from a dense population (criteria of being under X new cases in the last 2 weeks would be uneven in practice). Here in PA, the governor put in a red-yellow-green criteria for the counties, with varying levels of 'open-ness' for each condition. He just extended the 'shelter in place' for everyone out to June 4 (I have yet to see the reasoning, but I haven't really looked). However, two counties near me have come out and said they will do what they wish, against the governor's recommendation. It's interesting to watch the way all of this is handled at the varying levels of gov't, but I hope it gives us a quicker understanding of how 'safe' we are now to come out and live our lives, or not.

Recent events prove moreover that 67 - 76 % of the U.S. are brainwashed sheep

I cant wait to hear how loud the Baahhhhh Bahh Bahhhhhh Baaaaaaahhh Baaahhhhhhh's progress from here

are you talking about how everyone blindly regurgitates Trump's talking points/believes whatever they read on Facebook?

Jess i am unsure who "they" are. I know I am Australian? (Also a gun owner)I certainly never bring up anything to do with overall gun crime figures because thats irrelevant to the 1990's restrictions- which I assume said topic is regarding?

JGrimez,
1. Guns arnt banned (I own 2 legally)
If guns where banned, this would illegal.

I'm sorry but you cannot call other people stupid when arguing a question that is not even factual.

2. The reason for the restrictions was not at all to prevent gun crime. An issane number of general gun has never been an issue before or after the restrictions. It was in response too mass shootings period. Now lets look at those ^ stats.

Tell me whether its been successful?
Yeah thought so 😉

At least in prison most prisoners get to interact face-to-face with another person, so this lockdown seems worse. I haven't had any face-to-face interaction with another human being for 2 months. I live a tiny sardine can apartment, no access to outside space. I can't even catch the virus now or infect anyone. One person I know killed himself at least partly as a result of being trapped in this lockdown (mental health).

Yeah this is a nonsense reason which is why the whole thing is fishy to me (and many others).. A "mass shooting" is when someone wants to kill a lot of people. However they could kill far more people with a large explosive in a crowded area. Ingredients for such are readily available and can be bought with less suspicion. I call people stupid because they refuse to answer my question - what's more important, reducing homicide rates or banning guns? Would they care if guns were freely available as long as homicide rates and violent crime was low? They refuse to answer, get really emotional, give me some story about a 6-year old shooting a 4-year old and then call all Yanks crazy - that's your average brainwashed Australian.

This is a psychological attack against all people (some are copping it much worse than others). It's an attack against our health too.
I'm just wondering how long it's going to take for the average person to realize what's going on.

Yeah fair enough, i know this sort all to well.

Unfortunately they exist everywhere.

I hope they throw away the key. Subjecting her child to that, using him as a shield and a pawn for her political agenda.
