A few people have asked what supermoderator means. Simply, a supermoderator of BL can access moderator commands in every forum. Supermoderators generally help with the day-to-day running of BL and can assist moderators when they have difficulties. What this means at the bottom line is if there's a problem in Aus Social or Events or whatever, then I can resolve it.

There are also a couple of BL projects that I will be driving, in the coming months, which you'll all hear about when I've got more time to dedicate to making them happen.

The most important thing to note is that my focus will remain, as always, primarily on Australian Drug Discussion.

How long have you been doing this for ?and how many hours do you put into it ?

And where do you find all your info I take it both personal experiences and everywhere?
 
doofhard: I've been moderating Australian Drug Discussion for a bit over 3 years now. I registered on BL in March 2000, a couple of months of lurking after a friend told me about the Pillreports site and I stumbled upon the forums - it's been really rewarding. I've learnt so much about drugs in that time, and people too.

I read every single post in this forum, it only takes about fifteen to sixty minutes most mornings, depending if I've been up late the night before ;) I usually have a connection to the net running, so I occasionally check up during the day or at night too, particularly if something needs attention and I get bombarded by PMs and emails from BL.

The vast majority of my drug knowledge comes from Bluelight and Erowid, with a smattering of personal experience thrown in ;) That's one of the main reasons I'm always happy to try and give something back to BL, even if it's just time out of my day. IMHO for a general (and specific) source of drug information plus honest user experiences these two resources are unsurpassed anywhere in the world.

Seriously I think its a great idea and knowing that it costs money to run a site like this, sounds like a great idea foir making a few bucks for you guys...............even if its only spent on a bottle or two for each of the mods or super mods etc.

I second BTs call about the quality of this site along with Pill reports and Erowid............You will never know what you have done just for myself as well as the myriads of kids that I spend time helping.............

OK, there are actually 4 BT's. They work on a rotating roster, with one out gaining valuable personal experience as another scans vast libraries in a single second, while the third is doing the writing and the fourth makes the coffee in-between catnaps ;)

This also explains how he seems to appear in two places at once 8o

What better description for a Superlative mod! You've certainly earned it BT/SM ...mmm...that's got a funny ring to it...hey I've just thought of the perfect avatar =D

reminds me of them americans, they always want bigger and better things...

In a drug induced state on new years day 2000 at 4am we were gonna call america and tell them to hurry up n get into the new millennium.... as they were still in 1999
