I posted in homeless thread about closed eye visuals and got a response of opium dreams. I was wondering how often does this happen with people who take hydrocodone? Is it common?
How much did you take? Mixed with anything else?
When I had a lot lower opioid tolerance/was first starting out taking opioids (I started 8 years ago), I found hydrocodone to be pretty damn dreamy. Dreamier than any other opioid I've tried. It was also a little different than the traditional nod described for all opioids, even hydrocodones own nod (though they all have their individual characteristics). I would nod on the hydrocodone of course at the right dose, going in and out of a dreamy state, but after I was already coming down for a peroid of time, I'd reach a point where I couldn't nod (4-5 hours after ingestion - I would really only be able to nod from +1:00-+3:00). At this period of time I'd find myself in a light sleep/vivid dream scape where I had semi-consciousness, that was distinctly different from nodding. This would go last for even an hour or so uninterrupted (ala, not nodding in and out). I absolutely loved it. To bad I'd have to eat my own body weight of hydrocodone to get to such a place again.
I had an insane House M.D. episode dream last time. Now, opiates can also cause crazy dreams if you fall asleep completely.

It was really weird :D
I had one of those last night :D It was super intense and I could feel myself going through the windshield (it was this weird car crash type ordeal).
