well anyway, some of you may already know about my unhealthy obsession with miss stress herself, the one and only misstress barbara, i was wonderin if she's released any new mixes besides the 2 tired moonshine mixes i have of her's, and if ya got sets....
but seriously here, i just can't get enough of her, so if anyone has got something (sets or just plain mixes) there may be some monetary compensation.....wait what am i saying, i'll give a kidney

OMG!! Were you there? Umm wasn't that like the most AMAZING set ever? 2 hours of the Misstress for only 3 bucks!! That little place has a BANGIN' system. My ears were ringing for almost a week.

wow...that night at baktun was great. christian smith spinning makeup for dj dan, then tearing it up. he got the crowd all riled up for misstress barbara. all this for 3 bucks. too bad there aren't more nights like that.
one nation was loads of fun too. tech itch was great. ritm was fun to watch. one of the most amazing venues I've ever been to also. it was a good night.
 
OK peoples so heres my take of the party!! I had fun, eventhough this party could have been way better!! But first-off I think "that the real hip-hop IS over" I mean with all the bulshit glam hip-hop they play on the radio these days. The beats are definitely on-point, but lyrically, the rhymes aren't as tight, I think. Anyways thats my opinion. I'm definitely still ALL about my hip-hop (dirty south, underground, NY rappers/thugs), but Krs-1 sucked ass. Its true he was tight @ Boo5, but definitely not @ One Naiton. And another thing, so Krs-1 has "beef" with Nelly, but I don't think spitting it out to ravers/partykids who don't care much for it was good, he should have spit it out to a vast majority hip-hop crowd if he's looking for support & shit. Anyways I did however enjoy the crew he rolled up with that performed: M.O.P., dj Premier (representin Gangstarr), & dj Red Alert (hot 97) And a bonus I took a ghetto/thug poze pic with Geru the Damaja & his crew as they walked out the party. :)
OK so back to the begininning, so me & my peeps got there @ 8:30ish. (no line, no hassle, no stuggle getting in) Once in I did my wandering & stuff to checkout the crowd/vibe. Found out that the upstairs was closed which was a disappointment (bulshit in my opinion especially for a big-ass event like that one). And so it did get a bit crowded, BUT still OK to wildout & battle with people. :) I did however miss seeing the Rocksteady crew which was on my to-do list.
Best dj sets in my opinion that night, definitely Mistress Barbara (she shouldn't have been last to spin, every track she laid down I was rockin to til we left) :) , Bam Bam, Spacegirl, & Dan that Wildchild. Couldn't stay in the DnB area that long cause it was so hot & slippery floor And I wasn't really feelin RITM (but with all the hype I heard about them, not that bad the set)
But majority of the night I did have a good time. Always a good time when you party with friends who help make the time fun!! :) So I partied with all my peeps I rolled up to NY with, harassed/flirted with hotties ;) as my girl & her girl were wandering around or proberly getting their scoping & flirt-on too & also partied with all ya crazykewl blers. Always fun to hangout and party with ya. :)
So here goes my shoutout section: Speekah Phreekah (no doubt, always fun), you always get to meet my ex & then my current girl), Icey(definitely next time a lightshow that I've heard so much about, I have yet to be dizzy by one), Mr. (thug-lookin) Jamal (jokin), Freddie D (I remember you from IHAD4), Glowworm(cutie) ;) , Squeaks(still representin pimps out there with that purple hat of yours, how come everytime I saw you, you were by a bar, no doubt, thats keepin it real), BKR(hottie, mmhhmmm, I like you, theres something about your personality) ;) , Buzzy(WOW, nice accent) Am I forgetting people, proberly, but anyways I'm good like that. ;) I'll just meetup with ya later at another party.
And for all you blers I didn't meet/party with, NEXT TIME, we all still have allot of partying left in us!! But yeah I still had good fun partying in NY eventhough I've been to better NY onces. Oh and I have several pics of groups of you blers, so if you want to see them, email is the word and I'll sent them outtie.. LATER!!
