ok to shower on amphetamine??

just a quick question that needs to be answerd cause i really,really need a shower.
I know it's good ol'Amphetamine so i'm not talking about meth or adderall etc.
Man i REALLY need a shower...
 
No, it's well known that amphetamine and water have a strange reaction together. You may be risking liver damage. Don't shower while on amphetamine.
 
Where the hell did this myth come from anyway. I have heard several tweakers warn against taking shower on meth and adderall etc. But what the fuck? Was there one case where someone had a heart attack in a shower or somehing, because I do notice that my heart rate increases significantly when i take a shower while tweaking.

I think it's got something to do with that theory. I've heard it also go towards the idea that due to the increased heart rate (heart attack potential you mentioned) you can pass out and i guess drown in the shower...I don't know about poeple sometimes

how ive heard it:
you have a difficult time discerning between what is really hot and what is really cold
you may burn yourself with the hot water, and not notice it?
a foaf did once melt in the shower tho... hmm....
 
well i could see why takign a shower would be bad because you might become dehydrated in the shower and pass out. I mean i have to watch out sometimes because i have low blood pressure and i get dizzy in the shower if i hadnt drank much water before hand. But as for on a drug going and taking a shower. i see no prob. Just drink water before you go in because u might get light headed.
 
Ya if you're tweakin pretty hard any kind of warm water feels the same, whether it be a little warm, or practicaly boiling. I guess someone could get some burns, but not die. This myth needs to be exposed because every so often there are people asking about this very thing.
 
I've noticed that amphetamines and other stimulants have a tendency to seriously constrict my capillaries a lot more than they need to be. Maybe taking a cold shower, which would cause even more vasoconstriction, would be dangerous--any tingling or numbess in the extremities should be taken as signs of danger. However, a warm shower would most likely be of benefit.
Now strong narcotics and bathtubs, that I would recommend avoiding. It would make sense that nodding out with your head submerged in water would not be good.

Adderall is plain old amphetamine. Well a few different salts of it. But still amphetamine.

Take your amphetamines. Take your shower. It's not a big deal. It's strange with me cause I clean myself very methodically whilst tweaking. Just avoid stressing your heart further by having really hot or really cold water. Is there a big deal that I don't know about here? A bath is different, but a shower? Just don't slip and fall or drop your dexedrine bottle into the tub or anything.
 
never take showers, it would be a waste of amphetamine loaded sweat - recycle it instead
 
How could dancing all night long in a hot stuffy club be any worse for your heart than taking a warm shower... hahahahahahahaha...!!!! Good lord how silly.
If you have a heart attack because the water is a little too hot and you took some amphetamine, you were going to have a heart attack one way or the other.
Soilders are given this shit and run out into battle for heavens sake.... The opposing army could just hose'em down with some hot water if it killed people.

please please please take a shower... Everyone wil thank you for it later, and the only side effects of showering on amphetamine is that you will smell a hell of a lot better.
 
yes, shower. the last time i did meth i took a shower, didn't hurt myself.... had a few other problems though. there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower. and a guy watching me from the hole. i thought he was maybe a plumber or the guy upstairs had gotten under his floor. so i kept splashing water on him, but he wouldn't leave me alone. i think i ended up just yelling at him. it didn't scare me, i was just annoyed that this guy thought he could watch me shower.
yeaah, fun times with meth.

Yeah....sure there was a guy looking at you through a whole in the ceiling. Happens to everyone fucking person I know while they're tweaking, something paranoid like that anyways "they're watching me!" haha, I'm just joking around with ya!
 
Its cos the cops know you're on a 5 day meth binge, and one of the first places they bug first is the shower, cos we all talk in the shower.
Watch out, next it's your bedroom so you can't lie down, or your hair, so you have to tear it out...
fuckers.
