By default, all events in the MW states will be put in the MW forum. How are we to know when someone wants something put in the "Main Page"? First, make sure the initial post is put in the NEW EVENT thread for the "Main Page" and include a note to the mods that when the thread is split out as it's own event you request it be kept in the main events forum and not moved to MW. Second, if it is in the wrong place, try PM'ing a mod or myself and we'll see if we can accomodate your request - we can move things if we need to. Posting a comment like this in the NEW EVENT thread has a better chance of getting deleted than responded to.
We haven't worked out hard guidelines on whether we'd force things to be in the subforum if it occurs in one of the MW states, so for now, I'll comply with your request and move it to the main events forum. I trust the other mods will not move it back, that they'll see this little discussion we've had. However, if it does get pushed back to MW - PM one of us and let us know, we'll try to get it fixed.
odd that you would prefer your event to be in the main events area. wouldn't you want to advertise this to more local people in the midwest; the people who are more likely to attend?
