The West Virginia woman who grabbed national headlines in 2016 for calling Michelle Obama an "ape" has pleaded guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars in federal disaster relief.

Pamela Taylor, 57, admitted to authorities last week that she falsely registered for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster benefits after a deadly 1,000-year flood event in Clay County, West Virginia, in June 2016. Taylor had claimed that her primary residence was damaged by the floodwaters and that she was forced to stay in a rental property.

But Taylor's home was actually not damaged and she still lived there. She received more than $18,000 in FEMA benefits after submitting the fraudulent application, according to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.

"The flood was a natural disaster. Stealing from FEMA is a man-made disaster," U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart said in a statement last Wednesday. "FEMA dollars are critical but limited. Stealing critical FEMA dollars is a crime -- literally and figuratively. Taylor’s fraud scheme diverted disaster benefits from our most desperate and vulnerable, those most in need of help."

If true, this would address the long-standing speculation that the former President was actually an illegitimate President.

How embarrassing to post something that was debunked over ten years ago as breaking news.

• The document is dated 17 February 1964 (in this variation, it looks like the clearly photoshopped bottom right hand corner of the page has moved the date even earlier, making it more inaccurate-mal) and a bears a legend identifying it as having been issued by the “Republic of Kenya,” but Kenya (a former British colony) didn’t officially adopt that name until 12 December 1964. In February 1964, it was known as the Dominion of Kenya.
• The listed age of Barack Obama’s father is incorrect. (Barack Obama Sr. was born in 1936 and therefore would have been 24 or 25 years old at the time of Barack Jr.’s birth, not 26 as shown on the document.)
• Mombasa is very far (several hundred miles) away from the part of Kenya in which Barack Obama Sr.’s family lived. Even if Barack Obama’s parents and family had wanted to travel away from their home so his birth could take place at hospital facilities within a large city, they would likely have set out for the much closer city of Nairobi.

Within a few days the certificate was clearly revealed to be a fake — it was actually a forgery based on a copy of an Australian Registration of Birth issued to one David Jeffrey Bomford (who was born in South Australia in 1959) which was grabbed off the Internet and used as a template for creating the fake Kenyan certificate:

notice some of the names, the seal, even the creases on the paper are the same.

This is what Jgrimez takes as legitimate evidence folks. Keep that in mind.

O was mostly unremarkable.

His best accomplishments were unusually Taoist; he changed the country by not intervening. He presided over Obergefell v. Hodges and the legalization of marijuana in the West. His foreign policy was bad with Hillary as Secretary but improved greatly with Kerry, until Ukraine at least.

Curiously our favorite Kenyan Communist infiltrator also presided over the fall of the left-authoritarian Workers' Party in Brazil. Gone are the coups of the 20th century; now the US wields power in South America exclusively via strongly worded letters. Unfortunately the fascist Bolsonaro seized power, so that large part of O's legacy remains to be determined.

I think if Obama or for that matter anyone halfway competent were in power right now, Guaido would be the uncontested President of Venezuela. A skilled moderate isn't so bad.
