Does PR want to become a state or do they prefer the loose association they have now?

Edit: I looked it up and the last vote they took (2012) they still voted not to become a state. The reason I asked is that I have a lot of friends who are 1st generation mainlanders ( just came form PR) who always told me that PR actually prefered it the way it is.

HAHAHAHAHHAHA is that real?

Probably a schizo and had nothing to do with the vaccine

Did my research; patient in question had multiple sclerosis and this was completely unrelated to the vaccine.

This is the point I raised earlier, that they don't want statehood.

but now the shoes on the other foot and it's all a ok.

if you were consistent you'd be calling for him to leave the politics out of his fighting. Shut up and do some submissions.

The right IS consistent. We don't want that asshat wearing a MAGA hat either.

You are missing the point that the LEFT has to be consistent and stfu about the athlete with the MAGA hat since that's what they did for all the other political statements.

Did you hear ANYONE from the right supporting this guy doing this? Or is it just the left trying to find a counterpoint (FOUND ONE!!) for all their athletes making statements? Did you consider this guy is perhaps only doing this BECAUSE the left is allowed to go unchecked in this manner?

If Wyoming can be a state, Puerto Rico can be a state.

if Rhode Island can be a state, DC can be a state.

do you not realize this is a way of Republicans seizing power?

pack the court. PR and DC statehood. End the filibuster .

So, now Rs are "seizing power" by following the Constitution and status quo? And the D's are not, in their efforts to rewrite how our country operates?

Doesn't matter what PR or DC wants. Mal and the D's want it for them, so it must happen. Reality is not what you think it is. It's what the left tells you it is, even when you can see with your own eyes and ears what is right in front of you. You can't trust your eyes and ears. You simply can't, just accept that and conform.

What's wrong with a 5/4 conservative/liberal balance of the supreme court though?

I could have lived with that.

uh...yeah. How about the guy on the phone he's talking to? He's the head of the right iirc. Also just scroll through the comments and pick out his fans.

i don't give a fuck if he wears the cap or not. Personally, I like to know where people stand these days. I'm not gonna cry like a whittle baby and talk shit about the UFC because of it.

what part of anything I said is unconstitutional? BTW, was freeing the slaves "rewriting how our country operated" back then?

Last time I checked people of any color are allowed to protest. It's an important constitutional right. The problems arise when people choose to commit crimes during the protests and they turn into riots. I think most people would say that it's fair that people should follow basic laws like don't throw explosives at law enforcement or try to burn buildings down with people in them so surely it should be fair that protesters follow these same laws?

And from what I've seen it's mostly white people depending on which city it is.

^ really. because when nfl football players quietly and respectfully take a knee, they are criticized. how exactly are they supposed to protest?

This is the point I raised earlier, that they don't want statehood.
why do you say that. in the last (2017) referendum the results were:
  • current status: ~1,3%
  • independence: ~1.5%
  • statehood: ~97.2%
how do you reconcile that as "they don't want statehood"?

This was last I heard about it. Perhaps they should take another vote on the matter.
in the previous referendum - the one in 2012 - the result was:
  • free association: ~33.3%
  • independence: ~5.5%
  • statehood: ~61.2%
from those two results (2012 and 2017) there's only one reasonable conclusion - puerto ricans want statehood.

yeah that one was more in reference to white sports fans bitching constantly about protests before games.

i bumped on that one a little too (because i've seen ce&p posts from bluelighters who tell us that divisive rhetoric is a distraction from the main problem which is all of us - left and right, crudely - being kept down by 'the man' while they continue to post memes insulting and mocking 'libtards'). if you're not part of the solution then...
