^I get your point, but there are literally Nazis all over the place. Haven't you seen all the Hakenkreuz- and Confederate flags? All the fascist symbolism among Trump supporters? Hate to break it to you, but a fair share of your country is far-right.
That doesn't mean, that divide et impera isn't real of course. It's a machiavellian concept though, and only vile people follow Machiavellianism imho. And while the majority of the establishment is like a textbook example for evilness, they don't necessarily follow machiavellian principles.. Also most of them are die-hard neoliberals anyway, and pure Machiavellianism and pure Neoliberalism tend to disagree on key points.

I know it's a long watch, but it's hilarious. I encourage especially you, @TheLoveBandit , to give it a watch. It discusses the failed coup and things surrounding it. Maybe it changes your mind on what actually went down..
