Also correlation ≠ causation, I thought this was basic knowledge even for people who don't know the basics of science..
The fact that more liberal and "liberal" = leftist people have been told by a health care provider that they have a mental condition is probably because they are able to accept that they might have one and seek out somebody for this reason in the first place, while conservative people, or people on the right in general, live rather in denial than accepting that they are wrong or that they might have a mental condition.
I'm not saying that having a mental condition means being wrong. It's just the same denialist mindset.
