I thought Grimjow immediately because people blow him but, I'm a Nel fan through and through. I'm pumped for the new movie.
I could get down with some Isshin too.
Yeah, Grimmjow gets jocked harder than those ESPN-sponsored mix cds, and without any good reason, really. He wasn't a likable character whatsoever, his powers were kinda lame, and ultimately he proved to be a furry that got taken out by ichigo before being punked by his own fellow espada.
Nel, on the other hand, was a fan favorite, but with good reason. Her release form was creative and aesthetically pleasing, she had noble motivations and, like my pallypal coyote starrk, and enjoyable personality and fighting style. I'd love to see her as a nakama in the next movie.
wtblife, I didn't like the movies nearly as much as the canonical series, but they are entertaining in their own right. My main problem with them is that they generally try to throw in all of the fanboy and fangirl pleasing characters into a short period of time. what you end up with, then, is gratuitous scenes such as kenpachi and yachiru running around, lost, for an entire film (e.g., sealed sword frenzy), or worse yet, entire plotlines structured around a crowd-pleaser (like the horror that is an entire film about hitsugaya...)
However, I did find them enjoyable enough to not regret seeing them one time through, but I don't really feel the need to see them again.
So, who here is a fan of the movie Pi? I'm re-watching that oldie but goodie right now.
