Ok so SWIM took too much NRG in one hit as he was told that it was mephedrone, swim was also on mephedrone at the time. SWIMS muscles went all floppy, this was frightening for him. Muscles returned to normal after 2 hours. 4 weeks on and SWIM has anxiety, sunken eyes, spaced out feeling, the occasional muscle twitch, no matter how much sleep he gets he is still tired, also finding it hard to concentrate and short term memory isnt particulary good. SWIM thinks he has damaged his Dopamine system? Will the symptoms just take time to go away or has irrepairable damage been done? Is there anything SWIM can do?

Thanks

You should go to ER...

Would you piss clean? If you can safely wait until you could pass a UA, you will receive better attention.

From the ER you should leave with a referral to a specialist, which I beg of you to follow up on.

If you can't pass a UA atm, get some a good multivitamine with minerals. Pref. Chromium. Also look for Visteral aka benedyl in a high dose; its used often to fight negative reactions to psych mess. Visteral was administered to for the starts of suspected seratonin syndrome again for meurolepric malignant syndrome, and other. BS.

PLEASE do fallow up with a med pro, the ER bill, WILL NOT GO ON YOUR CREDIT in the states, and you can not get in any trouble.

They can discriminate against drug abuse through a UA? So I'm assuming they can do the same for fat people too? Lol, you're too fat for us to give a shit about ur heart. Lose some weight and come back next year!

Absolutely, an emergency is an emergency, but, every doc is different, and a lot will take such symptoms and claims with a lot less urgency, or belief with hard drugs still in your system. they may be less likely to make a referal with drugs in your system also.

I could imagine many docs thinking its psychosymptomatic.

And yes an individual whom takes care of them self, and is conscious of their health will get priority. Shot, I had a friend involved in a car accident, complaining of numbness and dementia told by a neurologist, that she just needed to lose a few pounds ... seriously, and a neurologist ain't cheap.

I've experienced, and read articles about drs being "intolerant" or "passive" towards patients with some medical knowledge... Ive also had drs excited to have a patient familiar with the greek, syndromes, diseases, physiology and ones own anatomy.

This is why I don't plan on going to med school. There's plenty of ignorant individuals who can be controlled by the government better than I. :)

On the contrary, that's why I neeed back in med school...

Menus, I had a md in his 50s, throughly explain the properties of xanax, as those of valium... I felt kind of sorry for him, but if I had taken his word for it would of sent me into DTs if he tried to taper me off 6mgs klonopin, with xanax!

& if he said that in front of his boss... review time!

try sleeping in multiples of 3 hours (9 or 12 perferably), your sleep will feel fuller but you'll probably have to remember the multiple of three for a month or so. it helps hit REM cycles or some thing. work on your brain little by little, it's a game of put the pieces back together and you have to work on things one things after another.
you most likely did at least some perminant dammage but if you go to the doctor and focus on being as healthy as possible then it sounds posible to make a decent recovery.

just remember, ALWAYS KEEP LEARNING

Your dream states are timed a bit differently, but interesting yes...

Your advice is good, but I'm worried about this guy. Sleep is only happens to replinish your minds juices; this would of been a front line defense ... its been too long. Your advise is good, but man, we need a neurologist in the house
