Nootropics (piracetam etc) - mega merged

Haha it's funny you mention Goji berries. You have to be careful about their impact on your intestinal wall. If you consume too much of them (say a few handfuls a day, as if they were raisins) they will tear up your colon and could possibly cause internal bleeding/rectal bleeding, leading to anemia and several other health issues.
I discovered the health benefits of goji berries a few years ago and started eating them as if they were raisins, but they lead to me getting ulcerative colitis. Not fun. Be careful, but they are great for you in moderation.

i feel more awake, but its subtle. More focused (my attention flies all over the place usually). Definitely not necessary, and not something that will cure any major ailments, but i like the enhancement i get.

To say that Piracetam can't cure some serious issues is just not true. I use Piracetam to treat Raynaud's phenomenon, which a vasospastic disorder of the hands and feet. This causes my hands, mainly, to become freezing cold from lack of blood flow and piracetam works like a charm to make these "attacks" less severe and less likely to occur. While this condition is not life threatening, to my knowledge at the moment, I would consider it definitely something that decreases quality of life and piracetam essentially ameliorates this issue and has no known adverse drug interactions that I am aware of and appears to be well tolerated even in the long term being one of the least toxic drugs in history, based on current observations and LD50. Has the LD50 ever been calculated anyway? I think I saw a study that just omitted the LD50 because it was too high. Hate to be the rat that died from having it's veins clogged with piracetam powder. lol

^ Phenmetrazine, I honestly know nothing of piracetam (which is why I've stayed out of this thread except to moderate it), but I do know a bit about Raynaud's as I suffer with it.

As much of a pain in the ass it is for my hands and sometimes feet to become numb and painful after being out in temperatures that are not really all that cold, I've found it's better to just keep moving or wear layers to prevent Raynaud's. Or just deal with it, since it isn't life threatening and it is really just a minor annoyance. So much easier in my opinion to just deal with it than to remember to take a pill every day. 8)

But, if you would rather take a pill for it, by all means do so--I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone with Raynaud's and that a pill isn't the only way of dealing with it. :)

Yeah idk bout dealing with Raynaud's without anything to treat it because piracetam is so easy and convenient to use but Raynaud's is definitely a bitch no matter what way you look at it. I'm just concerned with having a underlying connective tissue disorder but my doctor says he doesn't think that it is so, giving no certainty with his statement, bullshit. I think I'll get the genetics test to be on the safe side anyway.

The only thing I felt from taking it was I was more focused, but that could have been a placebo effect. I also was/are taking a high dosage of it 3 800mg pills 4 times a day. I was wondering if anyone knows the best brand to get that has the best quality?

Hi All,
I took fish, fruits and vegetables which are rich in antioxidant, almonds+ walnuts, green tea and eggs as supplements for brain.

my top-3 brainy supps:

1a. Omega-3 (1.8g. EPA / 1.2g. DHA)
- tremendously beneficially in regard to my mental health. stabilizes my mood brilliantly, helps my ADHD considerably in regard to my ability to concentrate.

1b. Acetyl L-Carnitine (1.0g. - 3.0g.)
- enhances my cognition like nothing else. if my brain is feeling a fogged up, nothing clears it better. it gives a surprisingly strong boost energy as well. with that said, can promote a good deal of anxiety if dosed too high.

2. R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (200mg. - 500mg.)
- i don't use this every day. after i've gone on a 3/4/5/45-day binge of (almost always) AMPs or alcohol, it moderately reduces the feeling that "i've totally fried my brain," allowing me to be somewhat productive during recovering from said abuse. it also seems expedite the entire recovery process. it's either an outstanding Anti-Oxidant with super-powers or i'm duping myself. either way, i'm okay with it.

yeah i've been getting high quality omega-3 oils. Nordoc Naturals Artic Cod liver oil with lemon flavor and some vitamins I'm forgetting right now is what I currently have and it's been working great. I've just started within the past month to take omega-3 regularly and I think I'm noticing positive effects from it, but who knows it's probably too early to tell.

I got my piracetam and choline bitartrate in the mail last night and was just wondering how many mg's of each are usually contained within a teaspoon measurement? I don't have a scale so this is pretty much my only way of measuring dosage.

take one nearly flat full of piractem.Dunno about choline but I was taking 50% more of lecithin than my piracetam dose

Storing Piracetam

Hey all-

For those of you who have Piracetam in bulk powder form, what is the best way to store it without losing its potency?? Is it a fairly stable compound or would I need to resort to storing it in the fridge? Thanks for the help

Cheers

OK so all of the supplements listed are good, but now I'm wondering which brand is the best to buy and what is the best way for it to get absorbed by the body getting the most from it possible? I have only taking my supplements in pill form expect a vitamin B complex which I have in liquid form.
