Does anyone have any experience with NOOPEPT? I'm actively searching for an alternative treatment for lyme induced brain fog / anxiety and I ran into Nootropics for the first time. Specifically Piracetam / NOOPEPT..

I've done my research regarding dosing, and will be starting out very slowly and cautiously.

Can any of you bluelighters tell me if I'm wasting my time with these or not?? They seem to get mixed reviews everywhere online, anywhere from excellent cognitive enhancement, euphoria, to feeling nothing at all.

Piracetam is beneficial but subtle. Were I not intimately familiar with altered states of mind, I perhaps would not notice its effect at lower doses. I've found it does help with brain fog as well as logical thinking. I used to dose roughly 1g once or twice a day, but upon upping to 4g twice a day I noticed a marked improvement. You should increase the amount of choline-containing foods in your diet or take a choline supplement (I take choline citrate), as piracetam increases the brain's utilization of acetylcholine. The worst that will happen is that you have no effect. Piracetam has little toxicity compared to most psychoactive substances and in fact can be neuroprotective.
As far as nootropics go, you should probably stick to piracetam and aniracetam -- they are the most-researched and have the longest history.
