Don't get me wrong but it seems people are just posting for the sake of posting. Whats up with that??

Is there a competetion for how many messages one can post about absolutely nothing going on? I think this board can carry its own when discusssions quiet down once in a while. I guess some people love to see their own name.
 
No, I think SOME PEOPLE like to know a little bit about the people they're chatting with. I think SOME PEOPLE like to hear what kinds of interests they share with others. I think SOME PEOPLE think it's a nice change to hear about OTHER people and what makes them tick rather than constintly writing about themselves. I think SOME PEOPLE didn't expect OTHER people to be so put off by their quests for knowledge!!

Well Ihave to say that if you are a dedicated bluelighter Like myself and quite a few others, than pags do not confine you, it is not hard to go the second or the third page to read posts, than if you find one you like than post to it and it will get back to the top of the board.
Not to mention if these posts were so bad than they would stay at the top of the board or on the first page for so long. So obvoiously those you are of the few that dont like them.
rest of us I feel find them entertaining and insightful to our fellow bluelighters interests.....

I still think there's something to be said for a "Random Shit" forum... someplace where we can talk about stuff like, "survey - what is the length of your left middle toenail width (in mm please)"... cuz in a way, yeah, there's totally baclue to these posts, but I agree, somewhere else would be better. Post in the comments for webmaster forum and vote for a "Random Shit" forum...
 
I have to agree with luv2luv, I am fairly new to bluelight,and I really enjoy reading about other bluelighters interests, hair colours etc... but I also agree with Motab about the "RaNdOm ShIt" page

Ok, so you like to read about other bluelighters??? Perhaps you could ask jase to make each users profile bigger, we could have a poll :-P as to what questions could go into the user profile sections.
But please, don't clog up the board with worthless posts that in no way inform or enlighten anyone. Ask jase for a more comprehensive user profile section.

I just think if you read the headline to a post and don't like it don't read it.simple.A post you think is shitty others might think is great.Just read the one's of interest and stop complaining.

What do you care if they have polls...no one said you have to read it...OR respond!

I think what people were saying, is that regardless of whether you decide to read the survey, take part in it or whatever...fact is, it pushes some more 'important' posts (like liquid's GBL post) down to the bottom of the page.
I don't think people are personally attacking whoever posts them, I think alot of us are just concerned about missing important posts.
