No More Not Now
There's a girl upon whom I used to depend
She lives up the street right at the end
She used to speak wind into my sails
Always pleasant words though
Never storms, nor heavy gales
Nowadays, things are cracked and failed
An unpaid account, no cheque in the mail
She has swum with the tide this time
Whereas before, we swam against the tide
But with out you and I
There is such little time
Before the clock, by which my life
Ticks and tocks and keeps its time
Runs out of battery, and thus I'll die.
