Nicotine's relationship to Amphetamine

Tobacco inhaled in short spurts and exhaled shortly after the smoke hits the lungs produces more of an increase in the binding to sub-types of dopamine receptors which are associated with stimulation and norepinepherine (a buzz reminiscent of amphetamine), while taking deep puffs and holding it in more leads to increases of serotonin and endorphin.

How would the inhalation technique relate to the neurochemical effect? I think I need this one explained more.

Is it the same for other smokables like cannabis?

I think it's less due to inhalational technique and more due to the varying pharmacology at different dose levels. Allowing nicotine to only contact the oral mucosa, rather than the lungs, keeps blood levels comparatively low and produces a rapid 'spike' of nicotine.

Did you hear that at a local Klan meeting or what? joking, but in all honesty I would like a source on that just to know its true, obviously a stereotype.

Haha no I didn't hear it at a Klan meeting. I understand that you want a source but I don't have one so you can forget that I said it or do your own research. We good?

Lol I heard something about menthol have a stronger duration increase in african americans, but last time I looked it up I couldn't find the source either.

Is this so?

EA is retired from Bluelight so I wouldn't expect an answer from his end :\

Ignoring menthol for a minute, African Americans metabolize nicotine slower than other races on average 1 2

But menthol doesn't effect nicotine metabolism or intake in any race 1 3 4
