Yeah, so this is my like 10th day smoking in a row of some pretty chronic stuff and have been smoking way more cigs than i used to but im just wondering if anyone was knowing why this would be, if there is some sort of idea as to why i experience this nicotine seeking behavior more frequently when high as opposed to sober??

I'm a regular cigarette smoker and I experience abnormal anxiety after smoking pot until I have a cigarette.

I smoke alot more on any drug really. Alcohol, benzos, stimulants, opiates, ect. But I have to have a smoke immediately after smoking marijuana. I guess it's just the anxiety it produces and you're becoming dependant on nicotine to relieve it.

Ya I agree, I don't notice any significant anxiety but immediately after a bowl/blunt/whatever I always light up a cigarette. I'm a regular smoker of both and definitely smoke more cigarettes when on any other drug.

I have no anxiety whatsoever but I almost light up a cig after a toke. I just like it.

Plus tobacco being a mild MAOI it does increase the high a tiny bit

maybe you're just starting to enjoy cigs more? i don't smoke cigs but once in a while i'll crave a menthol cigarette after smoking a large quantity of pot. sometimes it's just nice to melt into a couch, thoroughly stoned, while puffing on a menthol.

oral fixation?

That's what she said?? hehehe :P
But yeah, thanks for the responses everyone.. pretty much all of you touched on what i suspected (maoi effect, habit, etc.) so i figure that its more comprehensive of a thing than i at first would have suspected it to be and that a variety of causes may be ascribed to this behavior.. thank you again ^_^

I smoke after I do any drugs (except psychedelics because I forget I'm holding the cig and feel dirty most of the time) but I always have a cig after smoking weed, just feels so good. Go out, sit on my step, listen to my iPod, enjoy the day/night...everything's alright!
