The MOBILE Relief study is led by Beth Darnall, PhD at the Stanford Pain Relief Innovations Lab at Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA).
This study has been approved by the Stanford Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
- Taking daily prescription opioids,
- Experiencing challenges taking opioid medications as prescribed or have opioid use disorder (OUD).
What it involves:
- Complete a self-paced, 90-minute online treatment for pain.
- Answer 7 short online questionnaires and 3 brief telephone calls only to confirm your medications.
- Receive an Amazon gift card after each completed survey; study completers will earn $170.
- In-person visits
- Changes in pain medications or pain treatments
- Communication with your doctors
- Access to your medical record
