Vicodan goes CII in the US in 45 days.

Just happened today by order of FDA.
EDIT TO ADD: Looks like Vicodan tablets - "hydros", hydrocodone, Lortab and similar products will be CII in the US within 45 days. They are currently under the CIII schedule. Oxycodone products are CII already, so a simple way to convey this move is to say hydrocodone is now regulated just like oxycodone. That pretty much says it all. Note though - states can implement their own standards for prescribing above and beyond what the FDA/DEA require, like NY state.
