hello hello everyone! okay, slightly off topic from e, but i need to know if anyone has heard of this herb called Lobelia...in it's dry form it's sort of greenish/yellowish slivers of the herb, and it's also known as "gag herb" or "gag root" or something like that...because if you make a tea from it, almost as soon as you drink the tea, you will gag, or even throw up and feel really nauseous for a few minutes...the reason that i ask is that i have heard that indians used to smoke it for it's mind altering properties, and it was also known as "devil's tobacco"...so of course, by curiousity got the best of me and i tried smoking it, but to my dissapointment, it didn't do anything...and i had like 3 or 4 bowls...if anyone has heard anything about this herb, please let me know, i'm curious to know if it really is mind-altering, or if i'm just doing something wrong, or if what the person that told me was misinformed...any help would be hugely appreciated...thanks a ton!
