ADHD, Adderall improved everything lifelong struggles distant memories. Then depression and insomnia entered so was taking it all weekend and so on and so. Once I start I can't stop until I've taken a certain amount then I can sleep. I'm afraid of psychosis or nothing at all. I just don't want go any deeper. I go to NA for support, I can pick up 2 weeks at a time from drugstore, but can't find informative comparison of alternatives to help make decision. Or testmonies of people who stopped abusing and resumed safe treatment

I have ADD and decided that, despite the initial laser-focus and energy, taking a stimulant over time had many more down sides than benefits. Depression, insomnia, dependence and habituating my brain to constantly need a stimulant did not seem worth an increase in productivity. Getting to know your brain, using changed habits to re-train it where possible and making sure your life fits your nature are all good things to explore.

^ great advice. Meditation can also be really helpful to 'train' the brain to cope with some amount of the boredom.

Hope to see you posting around the forums and learning more tasteskinnie :)
