Suboxone pills are the nastiest things on the planet. I don't do that kind of stuff anymore but even the memory of snorting sub has me gagging right now. Yuck

if you use them as directed the strips are actually MUCH MUCH better.



JB, to use less cut the strips into 1/4s and use a 1/4th at a time.

Well I use dope 2-3 times a week on the weekend mostly. The first day after I need about 3mg snorted but, after that I can get by just fine on 1mg or less as long as I'm working/busy. If I'm just sitting around being useless I need more or I feel like shit. I'm in total agreement though man, these strips are way more effective than the pills ever were. I believe that I could do just fine taking 1mg a day during a work day where as I in all honesty previously viewed taking the pills sublingually as a waste because they were such a pain in the ass. The strips are great. I just stick it to the bottom of my tongue and forget about it.

Wiggi, I think anyone that knows guns will tell you that this whole assault rifle ban is pointless. It's all about the stigma attached to the words in AR. The fact remains that in the tragedy of Sandy Hook there was an armed man versus unarmed people an kids. The outcome would've been the same with any firearm but the fact that the nutjob stole his mother's AR-15 just adds fuel to the fire. People that don't know guns just see the word "assault" and see a black tactical looking gun that just looks just like an M16 and they somehow draw the conclusion that this weapon made it all possible. Neither the gun nor the high capacity mag made that man a crazy evil bastard.

To be clear I'm not on board with the NRA either. I don't think that every school should have some armed guard or something
 
^ I agree with you too. Assault rifles have been illegal in the U.S. for a long time now. The assault weapons ban in 1994 was pretty much a joke and I figured that's what this ban will be if it can get through congress. People around here are convinced though that Obama is going to come take all their guns and all kinds of ridiculous shit like that.

I'm sure most of us agree that law abiding citizens who obtain their firearms legally don't shoot innocent people on purpose. Disarming us only gives the criminals the upper hand.

With the way they are thinking they should ban everything that is dangerous when used illegally. Like cars and motorcycles that go over the speed limit.

I'm not quite sure what the ban in 94 did but, as of now you can purchase the very Bushmaster AR 15 that the dude used. I mean shit man look at Sons of Guns on Discovery. The whole show is about them making tricked out asault style firearms. According to CNN something like 1100 Walmarts nationwide sell that very gun. It's different in MA then it is down south already. Here it's up to the chief of police in the city/town that you live in whether or not you can get anything beyond a standard FID card. Some towns are very lenient whereas all the cities and a good chunk of the towns make it damn near impossible to get a pistol permit. Even if you have a pistol permit you can only buy "Mass compliant guns" which have to have have some kind of a flag to indicate a round in the chamber, a safety and there's something weird with the action too depending on the gun. Shit even the trigger pull has to be like 8 pounds or something. So that means no Glocks right off the bat. We also can't get high capacity mags which means handguns are restricted to 9 round mags and I think even shotguns can only hold 5.

As it stands they're talking about outlawing the sale of assault weapons, high capacity mags and doing away with grandfathered in firearms and mags. So if it goes through and you have an AR 15 and some high cap mags you can keep them but, once you die or if you get rid of em then they get destroyed/turned in instead of the current policy which allows people to pass on things that have since been outlawed or even sell them. That's all it is really and to me it's pretty much already like that here although you can get ARs here right now.

I mean personally I don't think people need high cap mags for anything and I never plan on buying an assault rifle so that doesn't bother me either. I just don't think that these new laws are going to make a difference. Changing guns or mag sizes is not going to stop a crazy person from shooting someone anymore than a blade length restriction on a pocket knife will stop someone from stabbing someone with a kitchen knife will. I don't even think that Obama thinks that it will change anything. He's just trying to make the gunless majority happy.

Even more ridiculous than the current state of gun control is the fact that video games always seem to get dragged into these debates. Every time it's revealed like some psychological profile on the news. People play video games especially males and no there is no correlation between video games and someone being crazy enough to shoot up a school.

He can go fuck himself with his anti-gun policies for the regular people. I don't want to live in a country where the police are more heavily armed than me. I also don't appreciate the hypocrisy of all these politicians who are guarded by a heavily armed posse.

One thing I love about New Hampshire. It took me less than a half hour to buy my 9mm. Live free or die, bitches!!

Those gun laws are about as effective at stopping another lunatic with a chip on his shoulddr as the war on drugs is from stopping another addict from getting dope. Those anti-gun laws just (rightfully) piss off the people who obtained their firearms legally.
 
I really didn't know that he wanted to get rid of the grandfathered in guns/magazines. That's pretty fucked. I can't see congress passing that law though.

As far as high capacity magazines are concerned, I think they are only used around here for hunting. Since if you are hunting wild boar, coyotes, cougars, or bobcats, you may want to have more than ten shots if there are multiple animals running towards you. I don't think many people have had very much luck with telling a coyote running towards them to hang on a second while they reload a magazine.
