I have to shave tomorrow for court on Wednesday, but you bet your ass I'm not touching that thing for the rest of the month.

I had that issue for a while. I always have some facial hair too, but rarely a full beard. I too get sick of it a couple weeks in. I started to grow a beard over the summer but shaved it off while tripping (along with the rest of the hair on my head). I had a pretty serious full beard going for the first time in my life over the course of the last like 2 months but finally caved in and trimmed/ shaped it about 2 weeks ago. You're right, it's all about keeping the neck-beard in check. It's still mostly a full beard but have trimmed the neck pretty much up to my jawline and removed the scraggly shit that grows high on the cheeks. Actually pretty happy with it, gonna suck to get rid of it tomorrow. I know I can grow another one, but damn does it take a while to perfect it and a lot of trimming too. If you just let it grow it sticks out and gets all curly and whatnot and looks like shit, if you maintain it you can turn it into a thick mat of hair that all grows nicely in the same direction.

yep. Come home from work and try to catch up on 6 pages. While you're reading there ends up being a 7th. Those were the days.
 
I'm about a week into not shaving now. I cleaned up the neck beard this morning but, otherwise I think I'm gonna try not to shave all month. I think a beard will work well this winter and there is already snow so fuck it. Only time will tell if I'll make it though.

I can't believe this shit. It was a crazy storm too, I had trees down across my driveway and lost power because of it. Just got cable/internet back today actually although I had power late last night (I'm near an emergency room so my power is in this sort of priority zone, everyone else around here that I know is still without power). Normally I like the snow, but after last winter and now this, I'm slowly losing my fondness for the stuff.

In October.

I can only imagine what this winter will be like.

Dude, I still gotta finish my Z car. Base timing's off, but I don't have time to fucking tear it back down again. On the other hand, what am I gonna do, let it rot in the driveway not running through another crazy winter? I was gonna do it over the weekend before I knew the weather was gonna act like that. Luckily I just switched to working 10 hour days 4 times a week so I'll have that extra day to work with rather than depending on the weekends.
 
S130. It's an '81 280ZX (or what's left of one anyways)

I used to have a pretty nice low-mileage one, same year and everything but it was a T-top GL model with every option, red and silver two-tone with the red leather interior that I fucked up nice and proper a few weeks after turning 21...
3 or 4 months later I bought one that was a complete roach on an impulse and drove it as a DD for about 6 months until the engine died and I took it off the road before it completely blew up (I killed the engine actually. The L28E is a bulletproof engine but severe amounts of not-giving-a-fuck and beating on it for months while on coke can do wonders). Now it's been sitting for well over a year. I've been in the process of putting the 80k mike engine from the red car into the silver whore piece of crap for the last year now (since mid-october last year) but just don't have time to work on it. I tore it down to replace all the seals and the engine's back in it now but doing so I put the timing chain back on one tooth off so it won't run. Opened it back up once because I thought it was something else, but now I know what has to be done. Gotta do that but haven't found time.

I hate our weather sometimes, it was in the 30s in the night/morning but high 70s in the afternoon.

I know a few people that went to AZ to school and they all said that the humidity here in GA made it a hell of a lot miserable then AZ.
But I know you can get too hot way to easy and not realize it in AZ.

totally for it. this summer i saw 2-5 a day and nearly hit quite a few.


also they're tasty. everybody wins. except the deer but who cares they're deer.

Rednecks do love deer hunting, but I am pretty damn far away from being a redneck. Calling someone that here can be like calling another minority a racial slur.

That's good to hear. Deer cause a hell of a lot of auto accidents and plus they can ruin a farmers crop, especially soybeans and peanuts. They are very tasty indeed, but can taste like shit if an idiot prepares the meat wrong. There's a shitload of deer and they are definitely not going anywhere anytime soon.

I hunt a great deal, and so does my family. Some years we kill 20 deer in a season, sometimes not even 2. The ones we do kill are mature bucks with a nice set of antlers and if we don't keep the meat ourselves, we will give it to a needy family. We have just now recently began to shoot does, solely because the population is outrageous and it's common to see at least 15 deer no matter where you hunt.

Personally, I have only killed two bucks, one coyote, and a bobcat.
