Haha, yup. I remember many a Sunday where we'd have hungover road trip up to Mass to buy more booze. Especially sucked for long weekends like this one, you're telling me I have to make the booze I bought last 3 days of drinking?
 
WE used to drive up to Missouri on Sundays. Liquor store right on the state line kept it real.
 
Being hungover and recovering from a night of tripping is not exactly how I wanted to spend my Memorial Day.

For Memorial Day:
If soldiers make us free, then why do most wars result in a loss if freedom in this country? Why do wars always result in some extra loss of privacy or property or even self ownership? Because they aren't really about freedom. They are about making you feel like the state is necessary. They baptise your illusions of safety that have been put in your head since you were young with the blood of your friends, children, and other loved ones. They strengthen your belief in their deception by making you emotionally invested in it. This emotional investment results from the fact that you don't want to believe the horrible truth: that all of this death and violence is really for nothing. It doesn't make you more free, it makes you less, but when loved ones are putting their lives on the line for a lie, it makes it even more painful and more difficult for you to recognize that lie.

We can agree to disagree about that topic, but don't you dare insult the dead that fought for your freedom from England during the Revolutionary War or during WWII to stop a maniac from taking over the whole damn world. I don't agree whatsoever with a lot of the conflicts past WWII, but that's not at all what yesterday was about.

Re-read the quote; it says most wars, not all. I agree WWII, 1776, and probably 1812 were justified. Everything else can suck a dick.

it was insane tbqh. beale street was fucking packed and the forum was too. she will most likely post the pics on FB and i will post them here. good times. and it was a bit of both tbh. we lost and then she flat out denied my advances. i have known the girl for like 4 years and she has never let me touch her but she is constantly trying to hang out with me....i dont mind it at all she is an awesome girl and always fun to hang out with.
 
^ If and when you do bang her she will probably not hang out with you anymore(unless that's fine with you) You could just play hard to get if you want to bang her. Women always want what they can't have.
