Instead, he got CRA 1977 passed which started blowing up the housing industry and aided the current economic woes. :| Yep, thats how them Dems help those of us who are less fortunate by letting us buy houses we cant afford!

Given that kind of underlying information, any leader in history could be classified as overrated since they "just happened" to be leading at a given time in history. :|

I agree and disagree. It is hard to really qualify Lincon's accomplishments compared to presidents in years where the country was not at war with itself.
