i did that url c/p image insert, and it never worked. I'd say I was doing something wrong, but it is too simple for even me to fuck up. Any ideas?

It took a couple times for it to work for me, but it eventually just did.

I saw a guy on YouTube having good results with CFLs in a cabinet he bought from IKEA. It rocked.

You're doing it wrong, lulz.

Welcome to BL BestFriend. It's really not all that difficult to upload a picture into the thread. After you upload your pictures to photobucket or whatever site it is you use to store your pics, then copy the image location of your desired picture, click the second icon from the right that is a yellow square with a little gray mountain(insert image button) in the message section(where you type, der-der-derrrr), insert the URL of your image, and press OK.

right click on the image that you want to post. then click "properties". it should show you a location. use the above "sex" image to practice you will get http://pictureisunrelated.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/wtf_pics-sex-dual-wield.jpg for the location. that is what you want to paste in this box

My advice.. Put it outside. Ditch the set-up and read up on growing indoors before attempting again. It takes a lot more than just a little foil and a compact fluorescent.

Put some money aside and start investing in a proper set-up, a start would be; more & better lights, ventilation, odour control, adeqaute soil/nutrients, etc.
