Ok...the preface: All my closest friends came together for a small E party that me and another friend co-hosted. We had great beans (Green Ankhs). We had great music (my mixtapes.) Two of my friends who joined us never rolled before and I had the pleasure and joy of seeing them blow up.
And then....I dropped my A.
I had no idea what to expect, so I just allowed myself to be open to everything. I'm not sure when I finally realized the effects of the acid...but all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! It was beautiful!!!!!!!! I had no idea it was so cool. There were so many cool moments that I won't bore you with listing them all...but there were three moments in the night that were so incredible for me that I have to share them!
First: I go into the one bathroom to pack a bowl and share it with everyone. I turn on the light and BOOM. I see my reflection in the mirror. OMG! For the first time in a very long time I saw Jim. Not who I am trying to be...and definitely not who I think I am...but JUST JIM. As I was staring at Jim...the lights above the mirror started to pulse and surge and get brighter and brighter and brighter! The whole bathroom filled up with white light and I just kept staring in awe at Jim in the mirror. Then, and I'm not so sure why, I became fixated on my hair's reflection and as I was staring at it....the hairs all began to glow with "electric" blues and oranges and began to dance and shrivel and disappear. WOW!!!!!!!!!! It was TOO COOL!
Second: My best friend from Chicago (whom I've recently had the pleasure of introducing to E) decided that he wanted to candyflip for his first time as well. His roll/trip were completely amazing and I was so in shock at how I, along with our other friends, could simply FEEL his blissfulness all throughout the night. Anyways...at one point, he had gone into one of the bathrooms and was also staring into the mirror when I went in looking for him. After sharing some of our experiences with each other, and quite out of nowhere, we just ended up standing still, facing each other, and for at least ten minutes did absolutely nothing but be together. Our eyes were locked. We said nothing. We did nothing. We simply stared. I became so overwhelmed that I had this huge rush come over me and for a few seconds I even felt as though we were able to hear each others thoughts! It was so FUCKING BEAUTIFUL! To be totally ourselves, in a place where language was not necessary to communicate our love and respect for each other. A place where no actions were needed to communicate our feelings and thoughts. A place where all I could do was be totally enraptured in the beauty of the moment. (I'm in tears right now trying to put this into words.) I can't explain it. If you've been in this place then you know what I'm trying to get at. I never knew it was possible to see into someone's soul...and know I do.
Third: Lightshows....OMG! I have always enjoyed dancing with lightsticks and giving other people lightshows at parties. When I've been rolling on E, I've never had visuals or seen trails. I did that night.
At first the visuals were very soft and mild but as the night was ending...I ended up being transfixed at watching my own dancing/light shows in the reflections coming off two picture frames across the room from me. It was like watching two creatures of light massaging and caressing my body all over. I was so awestruck that at times I'd fail to realize that it was myself doing the motions with the sticks! Simply INCREDIBLE!
Well...I can definitely say that I enjoyed the flip very much. I don't know enough about acid to know how much of what I experienced was because of E and what was because of A (aside from the obvious three points I just described)...but all I can say is that it was the most beautiful roll of my life! And I have all my closest friends who came together under one roof for one night to share with me our love for one another!
Thanks to everyone here at Bluelight who wrote to me giving me advice about acid and flipping. I really liked taking E first and then waiting to blow up to take the A. It was very smooth and enjoyable.
